Ah I misunderstood? Though the tragedy was his death. Though I'm guessing his presence is to show Harry that men get married in the wizarding world maybe? Maybe abraxus married his wife for duty and this guy for love? Cuz they are purebloods and need heirs..just speculation. Though I wonder now who's body aria was crying over.

Poor Lucius, of course he wouldn't like someone "replacing" his mum. Especially considering how much he loves family. No woman deserves to be replaced in any sense after she dies in childbirth, let alone so soon. Imagine dying to give your spouse a child and they just marry another. And it seems like delacour also died. Dont feel sorry for Abraxus though; he seems to be in love/lust with Riddle more than anything. but Lucius seems a loving and very family oriented young man.

My only wish was that youd just gone the other way and made them both female instead of male. Slash is so damn hard to read sometimes because people seem to feel the need to go the flamboyant overly expressive route or turn one of the guys into a simpering mess while the other is a overly libido crazed player and it makes me shiver when they do. I'd prefer a normal yaoi romance for once. You know good old minor flirting realizing they were attracted then just casual dating before they finally tie the knot.
