RoseMarie95 chapter 57 . 9/27/2020 Ending was awful, if I had known that Edward was going to die or this ended with a tragedy I would have avoided it at all costs. I feel like I just wasted 8 hours of my life and wish I could take it all back. |
Iwonttellyou chapter 1 . 7/17/2020 I like this bella better but romance seems forced, it doesnt make sense that bella will like edward, with all his insecurities. But the story is good. |
CapriSunnyD chapter 47 . 11/29/2019 My god this has become unreadable. I would recommend caution to anyone that considers reading this past chapter 32. I'll take my leave here. |
CapriSunnyD chapter 39 . 11/29/2019 This was a fun and interesting story all the way to a few chapters after Bella was turned. Now it is so packed in and all over the place. Like you're trying to fit a gallon of water into a half gallon container. |
lolrationality chapter 3 . 4/17/2019 Apparently Belle thinks that people who are in a life or death situation and very likely to die gruesomely and painfully can just choose not to panic. But far be it from me to criticize a member of the Yudkowsky cult. \_(ツ)_/ |
rilianus chapter 1 . 4/17/2019 I just went through the first twenty chapters or so (up until the moment that Bella starts politicking her way to power with werewolves and so) and it definitely is the most enjoyable of almost all of twilight works. I really like the balance of power in the relationship that Bella has built with Edward here. |
Shakespeare chapter 36 . 4/11/2019 I mean, there's a time and a place to push social equity, and it's really a debate whether it is ever really rational to do so at all. But her picking right here and now to do this, when she's trying to prevent everyone she knows and loves from being murdered by bloodsucking superhumans, really kills my suspension of disbelief and any interest of reading further. |
Shakespeare chapter 36 . 4/11/2019 Yes, Bella "the one who has chromosomes traditionally associated with nifty magic," also "the one who has chromosomes traditionally associated with fighting and defending the tribe." But, sure, go out and get an outsider who has been away from the tribe for years and who has no desire to put up with any of this shit because obviously she's going to be better able to unite the tribe because feminism or something. How very rational. |
Disappointed chapter 7 . 2/6/2019 Addendum: Guessing cards sixteen times in a row is so unimpressive as a justification for something that essentially upends an entire worldview. There are more ways for that to have been faked than I can count. |
Disappointed chapter 7 . 2/6/2019 Bella's utter lack of shock at the revelation of Vampirism as a so-called rationalist is utterly ridiculous to me. I could not suspend my disbelief when she goes along with the story almost on instinct. It's ridiculous. Any rationalist worth his or her salt would have appealed to Hume's razor, or have thought about this clearly insane claim for even an instant. Any inquiry at all. Rationalism is not using big words. It's a mode of thought that, botheringly, Bella appears to be lacking. Is it more likely that a group of teenagers look pretty and coincidentally pulled you out of the way of a car, or is it more likely that a secret race of beings has been living among all of humanity, essentially untouched, and continues to congregate, whose powers include supernatural, hitherto unknown abilities? I will only believe in a miracle if there is miraculous evidence to prove said miracle. If the evidence is not itself miraculous, then there is no incentive for me to believe the miracle; if it's more likely that the story was fabricated than if the event occurred, of course I should believe that it's been fabricated. The author's hand seeps through this chapter, and it reeks of authorial intent. Not a fan. |
arlene56 chapter 57 . 9/28/2018 I liked Bella in this story and the ending was brutal, but the story is well-written and really interesting. Thanks for sharing! |
Guest chapter 1 . 6/13/2018 One point: Bella *thinks* of her parents by name, not "Mom" or "Dad". Immediately makes me dislike her. |
Ticcing Bat chapter 57 . 5/24/2018 well that's not quite a hea lol Good though. |
linkjames24 chapter 1 . 5/7/2018 Interesting. |
Guest chapter 9 . 4/28/2018 There is a way to reduce the time needed for sleep: by taking naps on a regular basis. Monks and nuns do that. |
