I have to keep telling myself that you didn't do this to Bella, you're just writing intense fiction. I can honestly say this is the hardest chapter I have ever read in any story. It actually took me 3 hours cause I had to keep stopping & walk away.

Jasper & Alice need to be punished. I fully support Edward in his anger & how he handled it. For a bunch of vampires they sure are acting wimpy in keeping Bella safe. Bella is keeping a secret tho. I think she has a kid & Charlie has threatened it.

As for Jacob, he's 16 & worthless. All the wolves are worthless - always have been!

I don't understand Jasper and Alice. Jasper senses she has something important to do but doesn't offer to help her do it. Alice is her friend and they let her go back to Charlie knowing what she has already told them he does to her. They are vampires who don't go to her house which is the most likely place Jake would take her. What prevented Jasper from using his powers on Charlie. Why couldn't he make Charlies too tired to inflict too much damage. They don't sleep and she hung from the rope all night. They got off easy with Edward.

does bella have a kid? or a step sibling? gosh i don't know what's going on or what she needs jake to sign, why couldn't she have just asked edward? oh bella, but thanks we have all the evidence we need for charlie (fingers cross that nothing goes wrong there) and then hopefully bella will get back and talk to edward haha

On the one hand, I want Bella's plan (whatever it may be) to succeed - she's been so broken down & it's good to see her try to take charge and be proactive. But on the other hand, yikes, how foolish she's being. I'm thinking that Charlie looms as a larger than life figure for her - that she can't really imagine the Cullens "going against him" and coming out unscathed. Who can blame her? (Such a nice job showing how Charlie's police chief "aura" protects him)

Can't wait to see how Edward's discovery and Bella's plan do or don't work out!

I will definitely be checking out lullaby. As for this story, I love it soo much. I usually hate it when stories are written in third person, but it works so well for this story. To be honest, i stayed up all night reading this when i found it. I LOVE IT! Evil Charlie suits you.

Maybe Bella was pregnant... And charlie will find her baby and hurt it...

I missed this chapter somehow; it was good though. I'm curious about Bella's plans. My only complaint is that Jasper sounded a bit too much like Yoda at some point in the chapter. Okay, off to read the next chapter!
