Amazing story, very in depth character development. One of my favorite Mass Effect fanfics. Looking forward to more.

I like a lot of things about your fic, including the main attraction, the Jack/M!Shep. Dear God, it is extremely well written her progression. I really believe it.

But you have a lot of people commenting on that. Allow me to commend you on the little details. Systems Alliance is supposed to be an international body, and yet most people seem to fill it with anglophone names. Perhaps the odd German one. But not you. You are not afraid of even making admirals Arab speaking (by virtue of naming conventions I must deduce this), Indian, and I think there was a Russian commando around?

It's the little details. You really enrich your narrative.

This story gets a lot better as it moves forward. The first ten chapters or so feel a bit weird and have pretty poor english (especially the vocabulary is very narrow). After that though, it picks up and the english improves. While the story doesn't detract too much from Bioware's the original content is that does exist is very well done.

All in all, a really enjoyable read from 10-37. I hope you keep updating.

I love the lead-in to the Reaper attack. I'm not sure why, but I think that might be the first time I've seen a ME3 beginning chapter open with pre-Vancouver stuff. Nice.

Hm. I don't remember if you used to do this, but following the game dialogue so directly feels... a little stilted. Especially considering that I think Shepard and Anderson covered a couple of the points they're discussing as they're walking in one of the last couple of chapters.

Still, showing the Reaper attack on the fleets was excellent. Chilling.

This got stupid kind of fast.

I love the relationship between your Garrus and Shepard. Mine were practically heterosexual life partners by the time I finished ME3, it's awesome to see a hint of that here.
