second of all, you referring to H.R. Giger when describing the scene was exactly what I thought when I first saw it in the game.

Not many people know who the hell he is, which is sad.

Love this fic. Got everything it needs, a decent plot, humor and a great romance scene's. Tooks awhile to read but well worth it and can't wait for the next update. Also, if is there any chance of a scene involving Jack and Shepard's mother meeting for the first time. Can't remember if you mentioned if she died or not but it would make for a funny chapter but it's just a suggestion, if your planing to beyond the game plot. Anyway, great story update soon.

Making my way through this story, I'm really enjoying it. The first person perspective is interesting-unusual, but you do it well. I particularly enjoy your dialog, you've got a good ear for it, and the humor it adds to the story. I also like how you've created a nice ensemble feeling (something sadly lacking from the game), while still focusing on the developing relationship between Shep & Jack. Well done, thanks for sharing!
