|Reviews for Levyn|
| Nastrandir chapter 9 . 9/10/2010
Flemeth was fantastic, and that ending...*sighs happily*. I'm sure you're going to put them through the wringer first, but that was just lovely.
| Nastrandir chapter 8 . 9/2/2010
You've captured her voice perfectly here...wonderful, and enigmatic. And again, our blood mage's heroic moments are fantastic - he's growing into his redemption I think, even if he doesn't know it yet. And Gladys, well, you've made her so brave I'm wondering what you're going to put the poor girl through next :D
Great chapter, and now I'm all excited about the Deep Roads XD
| Nastrandir chapter 7 . 8/27/2010
That ending XD
More lovely moments between our blood mage and Gladys :D Wolf's backstory came through well, and I liked the Chasind mage. And I *loved* Levyn's get-off-her protective moment :D
| Nastrandir chapter 6 . 8/22/2010
Tabi is awesome XD
I liked the contrast in this chapter, how Levyn's very gentle thoughts about the blind girl turn into the darkspawn attack. And Gladys seems to be slowly getting better, which is nice.
And *shudder* on the darkspawn at the very beginning. Thoroughly horrible :D
| Miri1984 chapter 1 . 8/21/2010
Mmm. I'm intrigued already! Slowly taking this a chapter at a time but I'm enjoying it immensely so far.
| Nastrandir chapter 5 . 8/17/2010
A whole chapter from Gladys' point of view :D
I really liked seeing our favourite blood mage through her eyes, or lack thereof, hah, and how she has to take sound and movement as her clues to what's going on around her. Obvious perhaps, but it really works.
The darkspawn are simmering away in the background very horribly, and I liked the slight moment of trust between them at the end.
And Gladys is so right. He doesn't sound like a blood mage ;D
| Nastrandir chapter 4 . 8/9/2010
Oh, this was really good :D
The opening with the girl was heartbreaking, and you really got her point of view across so well. Poor girl, she must've been terrified and confused.
And you've really put Levyn in such an awkward position with Wolf, but it works well. I liked how the Revered Mother was kind to him, though, even if he (understandably) expected otherwise.
| Servatia chapter 3 . 8/2/2010
Hmm ... I must say, I like this. Keep it up ;) Good to see Jowan not running away but waiting what comes for him, too
| Nastrandir chapter 3 . 8/1/2010
Jowan in action :D
The fight was great, and I loved how he had to resort to blood magic eventually. It seems as if he's been practising his summons as well, heh. The friendship developing between Jethro and our hero is nicely played, and I found Gwen's comments at the end about blood mages hilarious. And quite a cliffhanger at the end..:D
| Nastrandir chapter 2 . 7/26/2010
Moving along very well :)
I liked Jowan realising how 'homey' the hut looks, and how warm the family are, and how he's never experienced that. Very sad. The Chasind characters and Gwaren itself are coming through strongly as well.
And you put in his 'dangerous' line :D
| Oliversgurl chapter 1 . 7/24/2010
More Jowan is always a great thing, especially making him a bit more courageous. Awesome job!
| Nastrandir chapter 1 . 7/17/2010
Jowan with longer hair :D
His farewell with Neph was tragic, sad and tender at the same time.
The scene-setting in the forest was well done, and I'm interested to know what he will find out about talking darkspawn and the Chasind.
He's still very Jowan, though, right down to thinking that he'd been so sly about hiding his mage-ness :D
