Reviews for An Unexpected Visitor

I like what you've done here. It is sweet, and a lovely slice of life.

It is how I imagine it would work if Seregil actually DID meet the Hobbits.

I like how Sam compared Seregil to the Elves. It's what I do, when I try to describe Seregil's people to those who haven't read the Nightrunner series yet. Unfortunately for Sam, he isn't really...

Sam is perfectly protective, and Frodo is wonderfully gracious. Seregil is bemused and amused as I think he would be.

Hanging on to the Ring has given Frodo a bit of deceptive agelessness, so it makes sense that Seregil might think Frodo isn't old enough to have an uncle quite so old. Still... I'm not sure that Seregil knows enough about hobbits to make that kind of judgment call yet.

Still...

I love Sam's "tweens" comment and the exchange about that. It is perfectly true.

This was a sweet story all around. Nicely done!

Sincerely,

Miriam
