Since I just watched UBW I'm looking at recommended fanfiction now, and I was really hoping, and then very excited, when he copied Saber after being summoned.

I don't even know how to properly express my feelings on this story. It took me about a week to read due to being unable to binge anything anymore, but it's amazing. One of the best crossovers I've read.

Well then, having read this over the course of about 3 days, I have to say that this is hands down one of the best works I have ever had the pleasure of reading. The story had me following along and never bored, I was able to not burn out binging this, and the characters practically came to life. Kudos to you good sir, kudos indeed.

Hmm, only the zeros from before late war had .30's, so my guess is it's an A6M3, or early variant A6M5. And why no mention of those glorious type 99's? Few things more satisfying than hearing those cannons roar.

Since it's impossible to PM you, because you disabled that function, I'll just have to do it this way. I had this story saved for when I had no other stories left. Not because I thought it would be bad, but because I thought it would be really good.

I've read your story over two days time and it had me on the edge of my seat for most of it. You are an author with genuine talent. I don't think I spotted a single spelling or grammar mistake, aside from the few times, where you accidentally wrote a comma AFTER the quotation mark at the end of a sentence. I'm now going to read your other story as well and hopefully, that one will be just as good if not better.

I really enjoyed reading your story though, and even though it's been eleven years since you last updated it (I hadn't even noticed that particular detail, until just now) so I have no idea if you will even notice my review.

Whatever the case may be, you should be proud that you wrote a story of this quality.

I take back what I said in chapter 9. I'm glad I trusted the reviews and sheer number of favs and follows. I'm glad I went past the ooc-ness that was chapter 9. And I'm mostly glad I found this story.

To be fair, I already had high hopes of this story just because I read In Flight and Debt of a Sword, so I was pegging on just what greatness lies inside this one. Only to be shocked at chapter 9... I referenced that a lot haven't I? Well, I'll stop and continue to leave this glowing review now.

The ending wasn't what I expected it to be. After In Flight I was bracing a bit for a summary-like ending which although gave closure, didn't feel as satisfying as the rest of the story. So when I realized the Italic paragraphs summarizing events was in the second to last chapter, I was at the edge of my seat. And well, I have to admit first that you are the author, and have total control of this story, not to mention you had planned this from chapter 1 to boot, and that writing an ending is a more delicate and difficult art than it seems. So I was a bit miffed at the sudden timeskip and vagueness of the FoZ cast's future selves, but understood when you mentioned it in the author's notes. The Shirou and Saber in Avalon however, that was absolutely perfect. Hell, I don't think words are enough to express how I felt about that ending.

Usually, when a topic or concept in a story is disliked by someone, they either bash it or simply don't care about it enough to continue all the way to the end. But these few months of reading some great Fate crossover fics starring Shirou, has taught me that even if its not to your tastes, if it's compelling or interesting or written greatly enough, people will like it regardless... Then again, could be just me, but point is, I loved it.

I usually am more towards Shirou x Rin or Shirou x Sakura ships (the latter because some fics have made it my fav), and of course the last one being my least favourite, but that ending and the way it was written, gave me some closure you could say. Like an unconscious tension was finally released by the knowledge that they have finally reunited, and written in such a way after what happened previously, that didn't make it feel cheap.

Well, that's how I feel anyways. If you are still there and are reading this reveiw, I thank you for reading it all the way to the end. And to summarize it if you skipped it all, I loved the great story and hope you make more.

shirou is halfway into being archer in this fic and I love it. I couldn't get into the original zero no tsukaima because I really dislike spineless self insert male protagonists. this is so much better!
