| Rose chapter 1 . 3/21
I never liked Twilight because it is not a love story. It is only a story that romanticizes abusive and unhealthy relationships without even realizing it. It is a story about Mary Sue and Gary Stu and if you are paying attention they are both actually very selfish and unlikable people. The only decent character was Jacob, until he transformed into Gary Stu in the last book.
Nice story anyways... :)

So, let me establish a couple of things.
1) I hate Twilight. With a passion. I have read all of the books, seen the movies thus far... I wrote my college admission essay on why it's such a miserable series.
2) That being said, I read this because I have you on alert now, and it wasn't very long, so I thought, "why not?"
Pushing past this great mental barrier, and having not marred my reputation by establishing my stance on the whole franchise (XD), I liked this. It was well written, and I think what I liked most was that Bella kind of... made a decision for her own well-being, which is unusual for her character to me, but good. I'd be interested to find out what Alice's stance in this whole thing is, especially since it's going on in the Cullen household.
"Bella watched her edition of Wuthering Heights land, with a weighty symbolism, on the golden carpet."
I liked that line a ton.
I'm kind of stalking, I know. Yet keeping in touch? :) Oy, needlessly long review. Sorry.
