![]() ![]() ![]() I have concluded that even at this late date, you'll never know how much I am enjoying this if I don't tell you. I found this through looking the the "favorite authors" of some of the people whose work I read often. I don't remember which one, but I'm very glad I followed through and started to read this. I am enjoying very much. It is keeping me on the edge of my seat for several reasons: first, I'm anxious to know more about how Ziva will fare at the hospital; second, I'm anxious for Tony to grow into being a real father to his children; third, I'm anxious to know why Tony and Ziva are not married, but have children; and finally and most importantly, I want to know what is going on with these guys targeting our Ziva and what they want! It is an exceptionally well written mystery, and I am enjoying it very, very much. I am very glad that it is finished so that I will not have to wait for any chapters to be written and posted for me to complete it as I get to it. I know you are working on something new and please know that I shall read it as soon as I finish this one. I may not review again until I get to the end, but know that I am reading and enjoying it and if something really piques my interest I will tell you. Thanks for writing and posting this. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Its brilliant! You combined my 3 favourite things! (good case fic, tiva baby fic, and mcabby fluff) :] |
![]() ![]() ![]() It has taken me the best part of two and a half days and much neglecting of my domestic duties (to the displeasure of the rest of my household) but I have finally finished reading this entrancing story, although I do not believe a word as simple as 'story' does its genius justice. Everything about the characters – their behaviour, mannerisms, interactions – is so believable, genuine and in line with both the series and true life. The structure, with the time jumping and the personal narration, provide both a scintillating and smooth read, the former adding to the suspense and reader engagement and the latter giving valuable insight that makes this so much more than a simple retelling. While there are some minor linguistic discrepancies (the use of motif in place of motive and omittion of the e in corpse coming to mind) as well as incorrect portrayal of military time, these can be easily forgiven after learning of your non-English speaking background. The plot itself, I found thrilling, captivating and challenging. You managed to elicit real emotions in me as I read, which is no mean feat, as well as provoking speculation on the case and opinions on all matters and issues you arose. If this was a published novel I would definitely purchase it and read it until the spine falls apart. That being said, however, this being merely an internet work will not stop me from perusing the chapters again again. I now intend to begin reading your sequel with high hopes for it to be just as incredible, or dare I say it, better than this piece. Well done, you have raised the bar for all authors on this site and even further. ~Angela |
![]() ![]() ![]() My past 3 nights have been spent reading this epic masterpiece. (Would've finished last night, but the flu delivered a knockout punch early. Such is life. Nothing would deter me from finishing tonight!) First, I want to mention that I typically don't care for kid-fic, so I almost exited after the first few paragraphs. But the writing seemed really promising, so I decided to give it a few chapters and see. Obviously, I'm here reviewing 3 nights and 30 chapters later, so the kid aspect was clearly not a problem. They were well-written and had their own clear personalities, and I really admire the way you pulled them off. I completely LOVED the jumping around in the timeline. Knowing what was going to happen in a few days, and getting bits and pieces of the rest of the time, that was brilliant and gave quite an air of tension. Tony and Ziva's relationship was handled beautifully. I love that it took this long for the full truth of Somalia to finally come out - that feels so very true to them. And I love that there was some closure with Ziva and Eli - it's easy to paint him as The Bad Guy, and a lot more complicated to try to understand his view and his responsibilities to Israel and how they impact his interactions with Ziva. I enjoy those complexities in their relationship and it was nice to see it done justice here, while still giving plenty o'love to Gibbs and Ziva and their relationship - which I also love. Thank you so much for sharing what had to be such a labor of love with us, and I look forward to reading the sequel. |

![]() ![]() ![]() Absolutely OUTSTANDING! What an amazing story you have put together here. Beautiful! Every detail perfectly described like a painting, the plot was riveting, an amazing web of complex ideas woven together so perfectly. I was on the edge of my seat reading this explicitly awesome fanfiction. This is by far, one of the best fics on ! At least of the ones I have read. Every character's personalities was captured brilliantly! There are not enough good things in the world I could say about your work here. I was first caught up in the title, its uniqueness drew me in Once again, outstanding! ~Zina |

The really long ones have a tendecy to get really repetitive I find but yours was sooo good! I honestly could not put it down. I loved all the family dynamic and the case was EXTREMELY creative. That's always waht gives me the most trouble haha. You're a natural at this. Keep on writing! ;) |

![]() ![]() ![]() I've loved following this story and I'm sad to see it end. You have a knack for perfecting certain topics and ideas I see many on this site fail to do. The way you wrote these characters and their interactions worked for me and felt real, and for the majority I could picture the characters from the show I love in this story. I hope to see more stories like this from you! |
![]() ![]() Thanks for a fantastic story! It was interesting, exciting, and despite being AU, they stayed pretty much in character. No cliche traps. I look forward to more stories from you. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Enjoyed the story!I wished Tony and Ziva had decided to have another baby! Thanks |
