maiqsmail chapter 14 . 8/30/2024 Weasel eruption in 3...2... |
maiqsmail chapter 4 . 8/29/2024 I like flowerpot pairing but the way most of the stories do it is just... meh... Basically inventing fanon out of thin air to justify a highly unlikely pairing. Veela bonds, life debts, coupled time travel, MC time travel to boost his "mental" age to match her... I dunno, seems kinda reaching to me. The fact that she is only introduced at 3wt start doesn't help at all. I really liked A Cadmean Victory, it had a more natural feeling to the pairing and its progression, even if MC had to go OOC there (basically flipped to slytherin-pragmatic side and decided to take a responsibility for his life), but that's one way to do it, I guess. |
Broadsky chapter 4 . 8/27/2024 I believe your story is being stolen on ao3 httpsarchiveofourown under the name of The Flowers Savior by IronAngel88. So far it looks like 1-1 solid copy |
ElfOwl chapter 48 . 8/20/2024 This has to be one of my favorite stories of all time. And that's saying something. Thank you for finishing it! |
Razer Granger chapter 5 . 8/16/2024 i have read this book several times. i love this book. i really love the epilogue because it explains everyone |
skaviouz chapter 35 . 7/30/2024 I know this chapter (35) is an old chapter, and that the story has already been completed as there is an epilogue at chapter 48; but you mentioned Malfoy being the whims of fiction god, a moment of inspiration, but I can think up some ideals where this is a positive event for Malfoy. Just imagine, Malfoy wants to stay away from the Dark Lord, he doesn't want his son to get involved with Voldy. I am not saying that he planned to get arrested and sent to prison, but perhaps he wanted to be in the spot light and "prove" his position, so that when all is said and done in the future, he can tell the dark lord he's always set up his position and stature to be opposed to all of voldy's enemies while trying to feign his allegiance. I think that's the basis of his political career? |
hoerpell chapter 2 . 7/28/2024 I very much like where this story is going. thank you for writing this! |
aacortez2005 chapter 5 . 7/20/2024 when you say you here what you write what exactly do you mean? I myself have an inner monologue and a decent imagination that lets me play out scenes in my head |
Jhn1 chapter 28 . 6/30/2024 Typo maybe? Missing word(s?) Now I've got you... Now that I've got you... is better. You could even precede it with a bit such as "let them kill me now that I've got you." Good luck with your muse issues John |
MrsFH chapter 48 . 6/28/2024 What a great story! Hands down, the best triwizard retelling that I have read. Thanks for sharing your talent. |
Blaxout chapter 1 . 6/27/2024 I don't know if u receive notifications on this fiction anymore, but I would like to say that sir u would make a great career as a professional writer the detail u put in ur writing puts many fanfics I've read to shame I also love the research u put into the trauma of the abuse ur harry whent through being a child abuse survivor myself I was amazed at how relatable his reactions truly were for example when fluers grand mother rushed him even tho it wasn't meant to harm him his reaction was very realistic many victims suffer from heightened fear and threat respons amon many of of other issues I also absolutely loved ur portrayal of Ron Weasley to be honest even in the original books I saw Ron as a bit of a prat and frankly as self assured as hermione had always been I'd never under stood why she put up with his bs as well as she did in the book but here u showed me the hermione I always wanted to see all around sir ur versions of the characters were extremely well written and honestly more believable than what Rowling her self wrote them I also loved ur ability to use mild humor to bring even the darker parts of ur story out of their dark places all in all this was very well written and If u have a pdf version I'd very much like to know where I could download it |
Detsella Morningdew chapter 48 . 6/25/2024 This fic has one of the highest praises I can give it - I actually read it completely, twice. As in, I already was familiar with the plot, but it was still very enjoyable. Usually that only happens with complex books, (Harry Potter source material, the Bible, Redwall, etc.) where I find new things on each read, or the story is fulfilling emotionally. This is the latter case. Of all similar fics, this does the best job at showing emotions, not telling them. Love, joy, anger, etc. It's not a literary masterpiece, but it doesn't need to be. Thanks for writing it. |
Detsella Morningdew chapter 31 . 6/24/2024 Yeah, I uh... despite this being a "bashing fic", the characters aren't exactly OOC. Maybe a few times where Hermione should have been up in arms about something, but you already addressed that. I don't think Dumbledore is inherently evil. But he does a lot of evil things and falls back on old habits (which is a common thing for people in their old age), going back to old beliefs and thought processes as he singlemindedly tries to win a war that he believes only he can win. He desperately searches for a way to make Harry survive (notice his triumph at Voldy taking his blood, a potential tie to life after his "sacrifice"), but he never considers that others might have better ideas. Or that someone who grew up in love could indeed give their life up for others. He went to what he knew, manipulation, instead of what he barely knew, love. (Also, his obsession with Snape is because Snape's "redemption" because of "love" is what he desperately hopes is his own redemption, where his path was changed by the death of Ariana. He can't concieve the idea that Snape didn't genuinely love Lily, or that he genuinely was redeemed, because he'd have to examine his own mistakes too closely for comfort.) At least that's my educated guess. |
Detsella Morningdew chapter 5 . 6/24/2024 I think Rowling got caught between wanting to write an average guy, a kid with a bad life, and, uh, not knowing how to write guys that weren't terrible. (Neville was so shy he barely interacted with anyone, other than to be beaten down, then when he got his confidence in high stress, we barely saw him. So I wouldn't exactly call that a fully written positive boy. Everyone else was at the minimum lazy, often dismissive of any help, and often jealous idiots. Even non main characters. Only exception is the Twins, who only get "screentime" when they're being funny tricksters, or serious about helping out. We never live alongside them.) |
Pepperonyfan1982 chapter 1 . 6/19/2024 Another childish retarded Snape basher are we? bye |
