Just started reading this fic the other day and i have to say that it is one of the best i have read and the most well written. The plot is great also. Can't wait for the next chap. because i know it will be great.

I am so very glad that you are once again working on this story. I began reading it a long while ago and only found it again thanks to you pairing Harry with Severus as main characters. Your ability to follow the main characters while still showing the struggles that other less limelight characters go through is well done. I like the air of mystery as well as the solid realistic view that your story has about politics, hatred, love, and power. I eagerly look forward to the next installment of this remarkable story.

I just finished Chapter 2 and even though there are 7 Gryffinfors (count them-Harry, Hermione, Ron, Neville, Fred, George, and Ginny) and you keep repeating this, but you consistantly write 6. (SIX)

This story is absolutely fantabulous! (i know it's not a word but it is now) And it's scaringly like cannon, even though i've been reading this fic before book 5, i remember getting a bit confused between the two, just a little bit mind, i think it might have been something to do with reading book 5 all in one and in the middle of the night... lol.

I think the relationship between Snape and Harry is great, very...real don't know if that's the best word, both of them learning to respect each other, they're not that different afterall...alas i don't think that this is going to happen in cannon, tis a kids story and i don't think children can deal with 'grey' Snape in JKs world had to remain bad.

Pity, your way's more realistic.

Maven, I may have reviewed earlier, I don't remember. I've just finished reading this again! Wonderful story line and I really look forward to your next update. This time, I took the time to read some of your comments to the reviewers out there, and I would just like to say - if you don't have something positive to say, don't say it. A fictional story, whether based on another or not, is still fiction and as such is the author's prerogative to do as they want - Maven, you have a great talent and a fantastic story going here - don't let the idiots out there get you upset. Keep up the good work.

Great story! I enjoyed reading it, although the parts with Percy or with Arabella Figg (jr.) were a little anoying sometimes. I know they weren't long scenes but I just wanted to get on with the story and they seemed kinda pointless, and they are about secondary characters. but now, it seems, at least those with Percy, were important and come into play now.

Otherwise, I loved this story. You did a wonderful job of portaying the characters and letting them interact. I also liked Dumbledore. I have read many stories where he becomes sort of evil, doing everything to achieve his goal. Here, you let him be one of those who are pulling the strings behind the play that is live, but he remains the kind harted man who only has everyone's best in mind.

and the depth to which you go with Harry! How he comes to find out more about himself - or tries to, at least, how he is the Hero on one side but a young, abused boy on the other. His relationship with Snape is also well done. They do develop respect towards each other but do not sho it, and now Snape is to be the one Harry will trust...

Well, I certainly look forward to reading the next chapters and hope you will update soon.
