| Sezstar chapter 5 . 3/9/2002
Sorry I haven't reviewed the earlier bits, but I'm avoiding all the ones with spoilers on! I think this piece of writing though is excellent, not just as a piece of Serevus musing, but as a piece of writing full stop. The last line "original sin..." is so powerful, and bitterly, piterfully true. Excellent.
| I don't quite remember chapter 2 . 2/25/2002
If my memory, once again, serves me, Snape *was* approaching Uncle Harry *with* Gabriel, who was previously greeted by a very enthusiastic little one. Right? RIGHT?
(Your story is excellent, and having Snape die would make for a poignant ending, but I must say... depressing...)

I kinda figured you might, considering the flow of the story, but...
Whoa. Hang on. You can't kill Snape - you wrote another story with "Uncle Harry" and another, younger son: Gabriel was several years past Sorting, and the little one was - er... five-ish if I remember correctly.
HA HA! SO THERE! YOU CAN'T KILL HIM! (Or did you delete that lovely side-story so you could?)
| Morghaine chapter 4 . 2/25/2002
Oh my god... I am crying.
Can you really end it like this? I understand that the world is a brutal place, but surely... I don't know.
Thanks for letting us see into your thoughts.

The end of this letter brought tears to my eyes.
It was perfect.
