Atrum Nocturne chapter 1 . 1/24/2014 Very good story, and liked how well you meshed the two universes together. I also agree that Brimstone is one of those series which were taken before their time, and this story does give that series credit, while keeping the bitter sweetness that is Vampire Princess Miyu intact. |
gambit chapter 1 . 4/2/2009 It's been a while, but I've read your stories before and they're always great. I got started on your Sailormoon series though. Guys, don't scoff. He wrote those as good as he wrote this one. Better, even. Strangely, I only see three of them here - Four Horsemen, Frozen Time, and Kiss of The Enemy; and that last one seems it wasn't actually uploaded except for the prologue. What happened? Also, the final story (the fourth one), which is way longer than these earlier three, I enjoyed immensely, and it's not even here. Truth be told, I'm not exactly fond of apocalyptic stories but you did it very nicely. Damn, I can't even remember the title. Oh, google just saved me. Found your old page, last updated 2003. Seems I missed listing Under A Cloud. I think it was supposed to be the second story in the series? That one, and Frozen Time, were the shorter, more stand-alone ones. I loved your first story (Four Horsemen), and Kiss of The Enemy was epic, to say the least. Finally, your 16-chapter finale, "Secrets" is still as mind-blowingly awesome as when I first read it - although I wish it could be longer, I love long stories |
Carole chapter 1 . 5/19/2007 Very cool crossover with just the right amount of mix from both universes. I admit that it has been a while since I've watched VPM, but this makes me remember why I liked it in the first place and Zeke's characterization was very well done. |
Nena Camadera chapter 1 . 6/10/2006 Very good story. I know nothing of Brimstone, but I do know Miyu. You made the story easy to follow dispite the (for me) unknown characters. Very nice. I espescially liked the chess game between Larva and Ezikiel |
MARISKA chapter 1 . 1/21/2005 Loved it ... Bravo to releasing Vampiresque splendor in the final dimension ... Thank you much ~~ MARISKA ~~ |
Tiny Whisper chapter 1 . 12/9/2004 Wicked Story! _ Hope you wrote a sequal! |
Dark Phoenix chapter 1 . 6/8/2002 I knew nothing about Brimstone beforehand, but this is still the nicest VPM fic I've read. Why not post it (in chapters) over in the Vampire Miyu section? Maybe even the Brimstone section. |
Blue Jeans chapter 1 . 2/9/2002 Ken-kun! You KNOW I love your stuff! I just can't believe how few appreciate you on ! -_-;; But that changes nothing since you're definitely the best! blue - |
Lu Baihu chapter 1 . 9/17/2001 Two things: Oda Nobunaga was *not* a Christian, just that his association with the Jesuits was so strong it's commonly assumed as such. Also, while I think your Nobunaga was very In-Character, he WAS more prudent than this version and actually held tea ceremonies often (though his ACQUISITION of tea items and masters was carried out in characteristic fashion), if only to build up his image. He openly acted as portrayed (though probably more of a highly intelligent sociopath), but knew that he couldn't look the part. Also, where can I find a full synopsis of Time Stranger on the Internet? |
Julie chapter 1 . 7/23/2000 Very well done keep up the good work. |
Skyrocket 10 chapter 1 . 4/11/2000 I only know VPM in passing, but I was a huge Brimstone fan. This was an excellent mixing of the two shows. The interplay between Stone and Miyu was great. I hope you do something like this again soon. |
Juan 10 chapter 1 . 4/11/2000 Definately worth the read. An interesting meld of the _Miyu_ world with the religious tones that I thought were present in the series _Brimstone_. Another good thing is that the author does a good job of bringing the characters to 'life' so seeing the series that they are based on is not entirely necessary. |
NightDragon chapter 1 . 4/11/2000 Well thought out and well executed. I have never seen Brimstone, but VPM was the first anime I ever watched... anyways, you obviously did a lot of research before hand, and your take on what happens to Miyu's victims is original. Very, very good. |
