Hilarious and poor Ron hearing about your best friends like that's kinda wierd *shudders*

The only way this could have been better is if it was revealed that Harry and Hermione were just winding Ron up and hadn't done anything except plan out how to imply they had done everything. That reveal would have been hilarious.
