Wow...this was amazing. Simply amazing!
Seeing as you finished this some 3 (almost 4 as I write this) years ago, you'll probably never read this review. If you do, though, I'd like you to reply somehow. I simply MUST know the full story about what inspired you to write this! But first, let me tell you a little bit about myself, to explain to you why I like this so much.
I am a Christian. But the thing is, I'm from the South (US), so it's sort of a thing we're all born into. No one in their right mind down here would ever come up to me and say "Your faith is stupid!" or some sort of polite translation of this statement. But as I grew older, I realized that many, many people (or so it seemed) despised Christianity, and that their reasons for doing so were numerous. This was naturally very disheartening.
At the same time, I wished to be a writer of some sort (still do!), but I knew that my audience would be very limited if all I wrote about was Christian-related. And I felt that I wouldn't be able to sneak in Christian themes in anything I'd end up writing. So I decided that whatever I was going to write (so far it's just fanfiction, but I'll break out of that eventually) would just have nothing to do with Christianity and take place in fictional worlds where it wouldn't exist. I remember when I was younger and, realizing that cartoon characters almost never mentioned religion of any sort, joked that "All cartoon characters are atheists!"
I've often wondered what it would be like, having a fictional character that lives in a universe where Christianity-or any religion, for that matter-isn't mentioned at all, much less implied to exist in the first place. I always thought to myself, "Some of them would probably accept the Gospel...eventually." But I figured that if I went about writing a story in which that happened, it would come across as too forced, and the character would be completely breaking, well, their character by accepting Jesus as their Savior. I also figured something like that wouldn't get read, since people would probably look at it the same way non-Bronies look at various MLP crossovers (I'm not a brony, I'm just using this as an analogy).
But you weren't afraid of what people would think. You weren't afraid of people criticizing you. You just went out there and wrote it! And the best part is, you wrote it so well. And with Zim, of all people, the last being I would ever expect to convert! While some of Zim's silliness is gone (but I've noticed that's just you're writing style, to make him darker), he is still very much in character. And it was so heartwarming to see Dib, his longtime nemesis, take him to Heaven! And I even heard there's a sequel! I can't wait to read it!
Basically, what I want to say is simply: Thank You. You've shown me that yes, it is possible to write a legitimate story in which any character-no matter who they are, no matter what their species-can have a reason of some sort to come to Jesus.

Huh. I like that author description. They are GOD after all, the most undefinable concept in the entire universe.

The internet is a glorious thing.
There is Invader Zim Bible crossover fanfiction because of it.
Though I'm curious; how firmly do you see your beliefs? Do you believe that people may see God through religions other than Christianity?

THIS. WAS. AMAZING. O.O
You are flirking AWESOME! I have never seen a story that displayed religion so well. It's just...beautiful. Perfect. I don't know how someone could write something THAT wonderful.

I'm sorry for you, for your friend. It never helps to ask why. Why did they have to get sick, why they may have to die. At least I know I never got an answer. Instead I learned to ask to submit. To be strong enough to bear his will. I don't know if that helps or not. I only know that its what got me thru. Accepting that nothing I or anyone else could do would change anything. Its a good story and I'm glad you told it.
| Wolvie'sBiggestFan chapter 10 . 7/30/2013
Best fanfic I have ever read. I don't think there was a chapter where I DIDN'T cry. Beautiful. Brilliant. Fantastic.

| PurpleMonarch chapter 10 . 6/2/2013
This is my third time reading this fanfic, so I guess I probably have to give you a review...
This fic... the only way to describe it is beautiful. I've actually never seen Invader Zim before, but I was just browsing through the Bible section when I came across this. I'm not really one to get emotional when reading a book or watching a movie, but this... it took almost all I had to keep myself from crying. Good job.
| Guest chapter 10 . 5/27/2013
i did not cry. nope, i did not cry. i smiled through the whole last chapter, though.
| Wolf chapter 10 . 4/19/2013
I've read this long ago, and I cried. I found it again, and I did'nt cry this time, but I'm so touched. This just goes to show how powerful Gods love is. Great job!
| Invader Nae chapter 10 . 3/31/2013
This...this is beautiful. I cried, man.
I read this on Easter Sunday, and it made it all the more amazing.
This is truly beautiful.
I am sorry for the loss of your friend. May God be with you.

THAT STORY WAS AMAZING! It's sad that Zim died, but he's in heaven now!
I cried sooooooooo much!
