Great start to this story. A plausible plot, though I think Gibbs would have a female present when he took samatha home. Ziva or Abby to be safe and appropiate. It is well written and is has good pace. Love your little hook at the end if each chapter, and the Gibbs / narrator banter.

Just two things, I don't think Gibbs would have diciplined ziva for bagging evidance and keeping it from Fornell. I think he would have been angier for waiting fir back up.

I also don't belive he would have called sam baby after he spenked her. He may be concerned about the welfare of this child but I don't think he would have made that emotional connection yet, I think he would have got more of her story first. Told her he understood her fear. He would have built trust first. He would have interviewed her first.

Just a little thing but more plausible in my book.

Great plot and waiting eagerly for part 2.

Good story - while it's a little too silly for my tastes I am sure there are plenty of readers who like that. But why don't we ever get to see how Tony's doing?
