| denverpopcorn chapter 1 . 2/9/2011 The other day I asked for nice guy Edward fics, you never pointed to your stuff. Why? This was exactly what I was looking for. I had to go on the hunt and you were right under my nose? No fair, miss. I love this one, too. Your authorial voice has the same panache as Write On Time - intelligent and witty. This is no fangirling statement. It's true. You both showcase technical experience, crafting a solidly good sentence that seems effortless. Another similarity: the ability to provide immediately likable characters with relatable hang-ups, not trussed up by far-flung angst. Man, I'm stoked that I found your work. As to this story, I love that you kept things canon, but livened up the characters, gave them color and personality, as opposed to to the one-dimensional, stereotypical character traits that we accept all too easily. Listen to me, talking about the writing, all hoity-toity like. This was fun, entertaining. I devoured it. I just really liked this story a lot. I married this Edward, cat and all. Her name is Lupe and that little furball steals all of my man's attention and I get this stupid envy when he tickles and plays with her. Jeesh, flippin' gato. ;) |
