I mostly never read 1st person fanfics, but you've proven to have a great grasp on Ziva and her voice. Another great one! :D
| mmkbrooky chapter 1 . 7/7/2012
What Ziva did when she walked away from the Damocles and Malachai was knowingly want to commit suicide. I guess this makes sense if your father was Eli and she felt that Gibbs had abandoned her. I always pictured Ziva as a fighter, so for her to give up like this was difficult for me to comprehend.
This was very well written from the viewpoint of Ziva, and her feeling she has nothing and no one left to care for her.
| Ziva-Tali-David chapter 1 . 10/31/2011
Wow! That was really good, I think you captured the essence of what she would've been feeling perfectly. Well done.

AW! I love this! I love how she was talking to Gibbs at the end, and how she knew she was walking towards death. It just seemed so foreboding.
| A Smiling Cat chapter 1 . 10/3/2010
I liked it ...
But I don't know -why- I still read angst/drama fics because I hate when stories don't end well ... I must be crazy ...
But I found it very good and well-written !
Good luck for your next ones

| dolphinsiren is me chapter 1 . 8/13/2010
Perfect ! You did it great...
And I completely agree with abstractartist ... you shouldn't let this story just here...
| mollygibbs101 chapter 1 . 8/13/2010
And the Somalia story line is so recycled because the writers have left us hanging lol and I totally know what it's like when something gets in your head and it doesn't leave you alone... damn muses, but what can you do?
| abstractartist chapter 1 . 8/10/2010
That was so sadly beautiful. You did a great job with the first person perspective. I felt as if I was walking beside Ziva in the desert.
So many perceptions have been speculated upon about what was on Gibb's mind when he left Ziva in Tel Aviv; did he choose Tony over Ziva, was it "tough love" for Ziva to come to her senses, was he tired of her and Mossad?
No one knows for sure; I doubt the writers even do. Lol. But this was a pretty realistic depiction of what I imagine Ziva might have felt.
This is a perfect one-shot, but could be carried forward to the rescue and subsequent uncertainty wrt the Ziva/Gibbs relationship. ;)
Thanks for posting this. :)
