Wow. I'm really glad to read that Arnold was working through his feelings, and I know him confronting Helga was the catalyst for all of her emotional outbursts and his own soul searching. I'd like to hope that this would be a fitting beginning for them as a couple. I wish I could read more about how they react when faced with the reactions of their peers.

I liked the progression of this story and Arnold's persistence. I also liked how he realized that Helga needed actions, not just words that seemed too impossible for her to believe. I also thought you did a great job with Phoebe in this story. My only criticism is that Arnold seemed to move very quickly from confusion to kissing/girlfriend, but maybe that's just me. In any case, great job!
