| putmoneyinthypursenotsignedin chapter 1 . 4/20/2011
Sorry, too lazy to sign in. This was - ohhhhh. Just what I needed. Warm and bright and perfect. You really captured that magical moment when everything seems precious and you feel alive. I LOVE this. thank you for writing it. It's like I always say - the angst and the h/c'ers are the best people to capture joy!
| Menthol Pixie chapter 1 . 8/21/2010
Sorry it's taken me so long to get to this but I've been busy lately. Here I am, finally, though, and this was awesome. As much as I love my hurt/sick/whatever Sam, some lovely fluffy brotherly moments is sometimes just what the doctor ordered.
Loved all the different 'spots' Dean thinks of - what an interesting way to catalogue their lives - and skipping stones at the end. I love it when our boys aren't fighting, when they're just brothers doing brotherly things. Gorgeous!
And also, although this has nothing to do with the story I'm in the stage of 'have to tell everyone!', I'm pregnant! Bring on baby number two!
Thanks for the lovely read!

Awwwwwww Karen, this was sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet, sweet. My sweet tooth is completely hurting now from all the sugar. I loved it. Great job. Denise

So much fun to read this. Just a great story about the boys being kids and actually having fun and they are still all themselves. Dean the womanizer, even at 15 and Sammy the kid that doesn't quite get it. Sammy the puppy dog and Dean the awesome big brother that just can't resist. And in the end Sammy makes Dean proud. Wonderful. Hugs, Vonnie
| jensensgirl3 chapter 1 . 8/20/2010
Dean treating Sammy to some fun was a good thing, it shows how much Dean cares for his little brother. I love how SAm does that puppy eyed look to Dean, and he gives in everytime what a sucker isn't he. lol
| sammygirl1963 chapter 1 . 8/20/2010
And a stroy to remember. How wonderful to see the brothers at a carnival and just enjoying themselves, riding the rides as if they didn't have a worry in the world. What a perfect way for Dean to cheer Sammy up since the kid new about hutning and John was getting ready to train him.

| buggyswifter chapter 1 . 8/20/2010
What a great little piece of sweet fluff! Fits right in with my meloncholy end of summer mood. I especially loved the little introduction on the spots of their lives. This story put a smile on my face, it's nice to enjoy this little scene of peace in their lives.
I'm always excited to see you in my inbox - you never disappoint.
Life is plugging along. Sadly we had to our cat down last week. We had him for 13 years. Every morning he woke me up at 6:15 by jumping on my bed and meowing in my face, LOUD, until I got up and fed him. I thought that at least now I can get up in the morning in peace. Silly me. I overslept for the first time in 13 years on Tuesday. I woke up and cried. My husband thought I was having some sort of medical event. I sure miss that loud annoying cat.
Thanks for another lovely story! Be well.
| Bambles chapter 1 . 8/20/2010
That was an awesome story and I have to say I loved your description of the sunset. "setting the sky on fire."
| skag trendy chapter 1 . 8/20/2010
This was soooo sweet and well written. It put a big smile on my face! The place sounds like some of the seaside towns we used to visit when I was a kid. And chips smothered in salt and vinegar... my tummy's rumbling!
Cheers for the great read, hon.
| carocali chapter 1 . 8/20/2010
Aw, so sweet! I love the idea of them enjoying themselves at a carnival. And no clowns! Yeah!
Thanks for the cavity!
| Visionairy chapter 1 . 8/20/2010
Well, that hit the spot. Yes, the voices was spot-on. It was spotacular! Okay, I'll stop. But, it was a very sweet story, and just the way I would expect a day at the carnival to go with the two of them. I enjoyed all of it, especially Dean trying to make up for Sam knowing the monsters were real, but my favorite lines were:
"Sammy, I know you're only eleven, but you are my brother, and being my brother, you could show a little more enthusiasm when it comes to…" Dean hiked a thumb over his shoulder. "That."
"Dean," Sam tsked, "I don't like girls the way you like girls."
"Aw, but you will my young apprentice. You will. Ha."
Yes, that was the spot. lol Thanks for another great post!
| ziggy.uk chapter 1 . 8/20/2010
Awesome. Sam such a cute little brother and Dean a fantastic big brother, using their last two tickets on the ride Sam wanted (which turned out to be the best part of the day) and telling him he had beaten his skimming stone record when, in fact, he hadn't.
Nice to see the Winchesters just enjoying life for once, chilling and having fun like normal kids.
