| P chapter 1 . 6/5
*giggles* That was really cute! :3 I thought that Zangulus is a little bit too obsessed with Gourry too! But of course, it's all because they're RIVALS... ;)
| Aaaiookeikaia chapter 1 . 10/16/2014
That's an odd note to end it on o.O
IT MUST GO ON!
| Random Slayers Fan chapter 1 . 5/23/2011
LOL, this is hilarious! I always thought that Zangulus's obsession with beating Gourry was a little in foe yay territory.
| siren'soldies-almostall chapter 1 . 1/24/2011

| PhinalPhantasy chapter 1 . 8/31/2010
normally I don't do yaoi or even hinted yaoi, but this was hilarious.
| cyberimp6 chapter 1 . 8/27/2010
Lina's right - Zangulus has to go. Interfering with a hot sweet potato with cinnamon . . . even Xellos wouldn't do that!
| CMY chapter 1 . 8/23/2010
Well...this was wierd. Oh, well. I like wierd.
To quote yeh, Minamino, someone wants someone all to herself.
Someday, they have got to tell us where he got that goddamm hat...
Very subtle and brief, but that short lil sentence from the flat-chest tells us that she believes her bodyguard could never be bested in a head-to-head clash of blades.
Mooching food and starting fights? That's HER friggin' job! This guy is trying to steal her role!
Ginger with split ends...
So hair is a natural armour? Interesting...
You always hear all kinds of crap about the medieval bad-boy stereotype, but you never hear about their hygiene methods...
And there yeh go again about shiny hair...
Lina's just bitter 'cos she has to share. I MIGHT be a LITTLE BIT wrong here, but something tells me that Lina Inverse isn't inclined to sharing...
DOES he find her attractive? I mean, honestly? He clearly cares deeply her on a personal level, but what about physical chemistry? And what the hell am I saying? This is all your fault, Llybian!
Rabid wolverines would declare their service and faith to the eternal wisdom and purity that is their deity, Lina Inverse...
You have to admit, from an outsider's point-of-view like that of Zangulus, it does seem strange that such a superbly skilled swordsman and ex-mercenary like Gabriev, who could easily forge a future for himself by offering his services to some rich, powerful figure, would instead make such a bizarre and utterly stupefying choice in life: to forever, repeat, FOREVER, shackle himself to a teenage girl whose only goal in life is to look out for Number One, as well as the occasional shiny thingy, magical artefact, and fifty-course meal.
I still remember that moment from Slayers NEXT, EP 18. Probably the closest Lina ever got to talking to him about the exact nature of their relationship, not to mention finding out about his family background.
What power does this little girl wield over probably the very best swordsman living within the former Mazoku barrier? Perhaps, it is the most dangerous and unpredictable power on the face of the planet...
...well...ye haveta admit...his obsession with Gourry does have a bit of stalkish-ness to it...
Now that you've brought this up, it DOES seem kind of strange that Zangulus would go to so much trouble and put up so much of a fuss just to get into a fight with the Bait-for-Brains.
I suppose it could be partially attributed to him having never been defeated in melee combat before, which should say something about Gourry. Still, now that the Golden Retriever no longer has Gorun Nova, Zangulus might now have a chance.
Follow around and talk about nothing else except that person? Are ye also refering to someone else, Minamino-san? For Christ's sake, why do THEY keep turning up?
Watching him sleeping?...Ohhkkaayy...Zangulus, mate, yeh've got issues...
He dosen't realize that that kind of behaviour would make people think that he's...wait. Ah...now I know the real reason why Lina wants him gone...
He has got to be the most innocent mercenary ever. Heck, he probably got into a damm war out of sheer accident...
Enough with the sweet potato already!
What did I just say?
...she's going to regret saying that...
Thanks for this small but entertaining tale, Minamino. Very nice to get into the head of the husband of Zoamelguster's sole worshipper. Plus, what Lina thinks of him stalking, urm, constant analysis and surveilance of property that is rightfully(?) hers was a very nice touch. Not bad for a one-shot story.
Two more days to the highly-anticipated moment in ALO. Here's hoping Zelgadis actually does something rash for once. Abandon all Logic, Zelgadis Greywords, and let Impulsivity guide your actions...
