|Reviews for Doing His Duty|

Absolutely spot on with this. Lestrade restrained and not entirely sure how to react himself , and a whole
mixture of emotions, more touching for being manage to say a lot about both officers very effectively in this piece. Very well done,

Ouch, I'll bet he feels guilty for saying that now. Poor Lestrade. At least Gregson died with his boots on, doing what he loved best.
Wonder what Holmes would have said?

Hmm, I do like the way you work with Lestrade. He is both hurt and completely in control - and his characterization is absolutely spot on. Great how you included the bit about Watson not knowing that Lestrade liked Gregson that much. Kudos to Lestrade for standing up for Gregson's sacrifice.
Thanks and good job! K.
