I know it's been four years since this has been written, but can I just say well done! This has to be the best NCIS fic I've ever read. Or maybe the best fic overall! Thank you so much for writing this. The characters were perfect, especially Gibbs and tony. I love their relationship in this, I cried and laughed and beamed with joy throughout the story. Just, gah, thank you, again. You are beautifully brilliant!

I really enjoyed this story. It is well written and flows very well. I also learned about blind baseball. Thank you for teaching as well.

Awwww, a happy ending, yay! I'm a sucker for happy endings. so I'm totally fine with this ;)
I have to say it again - you did a great job and I can only imagine the amount of research you've put into this story. Although reading it is of course never the same as experiencing something, I feel like you've managed to give me the feeling to understand what Tony is going through as best as possible without being actually blind. Congratulations!
| Jesco123 chapter 19 . 3/3/2013
Go Tony! I've been waiting for something like this to happen from the moment Gibbs left the house, lol. I like that Ziva came back to talk to him, but I also like that Tony and not Ziva got to shot the guy.
I'm wondering about one thing though - did Tony answer his phone in his sleep? First I thought the guy was already in the house and answering the phone for him. Guess this is the better alternative. :)
| Jesco123 chapter 18 . 3/3/2013
Ziva. Hm, I'm not sure how I would react if I were in Tony's shoes. But I feel like the way you have both of them react is very true to the characters. Tony's recommendation to Vance shows he's not throwing her to the wolves. but his reaction when talking to her shows he isn't just forgiving and forgetting either (or at least that's what I read into it ;)). Well, what I wanted to say was how much I like the fact that you're showing the conflict within Tony and that not everything is happy sunshine, which wouldn't be realistic anyway. Great job!
Yeah, of course it wasn't that guy. It's never that easy. :)
| Jesco123 chapter 16 . 3/3/2013
Pick me up - Gibbs' style, huh? I absolutely loved this chapter, because it shows how well Gibbs knows Tony and how determined he is to help Tony whichever problem pops up in front of them.
That is some serious sport, I think it's amazing (you gotta love youtube). Thanks for letting me learn something new!
| Jesco123 chapter 15 . 3/3/2013
Usually I don't see your twist coming, but Tony giving his resignation? Yep, I was pretty sure about that one. And I almost expected him to somehow have left the house when Gibbs came back, lol. Ah well, getting drunk in the basement is a pretty good alternative. ;)
At least the others figured out what was wrong with the gifts...but I like a lot that they did have other gifts as well. I mean, the situation isn't easy for anyone, plus the shooting came in the way. *sighs*
| Jesco123 chapter 13 . 3/3/2013
Really Gibbs? Already the first gift made me cringe and wonder how they all can be so stupid. Go Jimmy for not rubbing the blindness in. I know they all mean well, but don't they know Tony at all?
So, whoever is after Gibbs. Should narrow the list down a little...if it's not the Turner dude. Now I have to check if the shooter hit somebody...
| Jesco123 chapter 12 . 3/3/2013
To be honest I just want to go on to the next chapter, but I thought I'll let you know how much I enjoy the conversations you write - there's usually something in there that has me grinning or giggling like an idiot. Like for example McGee's description of the dog...or Tony's and McGee's conversation about exhaust thing (I'm with McGee on this one by the way - no clue at all what it is ;)).
| Jesco123 chapter 11 . 3/3/2013
Oh, I like Steve. Actually, I like him a lot. He sounds like he can push Tony in the right direction. Now I just hope he's for real and not some bad guy in hiding...
And kudos to you for the research you've put into this. All the seemingly small things we take for granted every day that suddenly turn out to be extremely difficult - being able to see means we're not really paying attention to them at all. And don't consider them an issue either. It becomes even clearer with all the details about their walk - I can't even imagine how it must feel like to walk down a street suddenly not longer able to see.
Go Tony! Whoever is after Tony/Gibbs/both of them just made the biggest mistake - missing the target ;). I'm getting more and more curious to who we're dealing with here.
| Jesco123 chapter 10 . 3/2/2013
I gotta tell you - I admire the way you describe things in detail, like the scene at the table, without making it an overload on details and information. I can see these things in my head and you capture my attention without me getting bored because it's too much. You are really doing a great job here.
Finally - Tony puts into words how he really feels (and damn, isn't that totally understandable? I don't feel anybody has really stopped and checked with him what he wants to do or how he wants to do it) - and Gibbs has listened. Good for him.
The dude on the roof...I'm wondering who he's after, Gibbs or Tony. Not that it really matters...
