|Reviews for Lost Colony|
| Toras chapter 1 . 7/12/2018
I was just rereading this story and wanted to compliment you on a nice piece of work.
A thought I had after reading it, was if the Federation decides to keep an eye on them how they would react when the figure out that the reason for the long passes is they Dragonriders using their dragons temporal abilities to change the orbit of the red planet. A follow up story might prove interesting.
| Robert chapter 2 . 3/28/2018
You need some editing. Groghe.
| SpockST chapter 4 . 9/8/2016
A nice short story made even better by being complete. I would love to see an expanded version of this or, perhaps, additional stories in the same vein.
Well written and only noticed one spelling mistake.
| LadyPhoenix68 chapter 4 . 5/20/2016
This is a very nice story, I like it and I would love to see a followup story for post All the Weyrs of Pern
| AliasKelly chapter 4 . 1/6/2016
Your story left me wishing for more - that say's it all.
| Auua Ytjoml chapter 4 . 1/21/2015
please continue when you find the inspiration!
| Auua Ytjoml chapter 2 . 1/21/2015
Chekov's accent, as you are writing it, is unessessarily thick (difficult to read), and, if I'm remembering TOS correctly, he doesn't have nearly as thick of an accent as you are portraying.
In contrast you're hardly making note of Sulu's accent at all (not that I have a strong preference either way but I think you should be consistant. If you're going to write out the accents write them /all/ out)
I'm loving your interactions. All very true to character for both sides and they're meshing quite well without one overpowering the other as so often happens in Xovers. Well done.
| Molly Bergstrom chapter 1 . 3/28/2014
I know this is a few years old, but seeing good Pern crossover fanfic just makes my day. Oh, the inhuman noises I just made.
| Guest chapter 4 . 12/20/2013
More interesting but short...and of course the red shirt survived. that is NOT supposed to happen...he could have at least been eaten by thread. The only other criticism is that Kirk didn't crawl into bed with somebody and Spock being a Vulcan wasn't noted as telepathic by the dragons.
| fractalman chapter 2 . 12/6/2013
Nice touch, having them speak to spock directly.
Whether or not you knew it to be so, dragons pay about as much attention to the raw telepathic ability of the humans in question as to their character traits.
It's not, I think, something anne McAffery added consciously, but more like something that emerged from her overall view of how telepathy and other psychich powers ought to work. although, I haven't read all her books yet, so i could easily be wrong.
| fractalman chapter 1 . 12/6/2013
"kirk, spock, mcoy, sulu, and a RedShirt beam down"
I burst out laughing at that.
And then I got an idea for a RedShirt ficlet.
| Matt chapter 4 . 10/20/2013
Only problem with your is that the colonists know about Pern before they actually when there.
| Gringle Kirby chapter 4 . 10/3/2013
I like this story, I could so see this as a Star Trek episode. There were a few things off, but nobodys perfect. And they do that to books made into movies all the time.
| Guest chapter 4 . 9/17/2013
That was fun! Thank you!
