| Kumoatsu chapter 1 . 9/12/2013
Wow, this was a fun read. Too bad its dead. :(
| AngelForm chapter 1 . 8/18/2013
A good story.
Could have done with being fleshed out a little more (and split into two or three distinct chapters).
| JohnAtDawn chapter 1 . 8/12/2013
Your writing is amazing, That's really the only thing I can say.
| Nerfhearder69 chapter 1 . 7/10/2013
Though SI isn't usually my cup of tea, this s#% rocks! I'm going for another dose!
| Guest chapter 1 . 6/29/2013
This was way more fun to read than I expected, have read it a few times and the small details that get thrown in between the metagaming and self analysis make this quite the pleasure to read. Nothing serious, but a blast to kick back and enjoy. Well done!
| Twigon Halolover chapter 1 . 6/15/2013
I think this might be one of the longest chapters I've ever seen.
I've read this, two, three times now, and it is still one of the most engaging combat fics I've ever seen. It takes a lot, and I mean a LOT of skill to turn combat into something as engaging as you did, but you did it.
I seriously, seriously wish there was a sequel to this, but I understand that you aren't all that eager to do so.
Still, I'm glad I got to read this.
| Rubel chapter 1 . 6/9/2013
Awesome! This has been the most interesting Munchkining I've ever read. Good job. I'm gonna guess the head of the magi is Dumbledore? Anyways thanks for the great read and I look forward to more.
| michaelsuave chapter 1 . 6/7/2013
Very fun, would love to see this story run in a sequel.
| Guest chapter 1 . 6/3/2013
Nice. I don't do DnD at all just a couple of pc rpgs so a lot went over my head, but this was really fun.
| Ichai chapter 1 . 5/17/2013
This was quite a bit of fun to read, even with the inconsistencies. Also, the DM clearly doesn't know wtf he's doing.
Only real objection I had to the rules is taking Cerebremancer in gestalt, that's blatantly against the rules for gestalt, as it advances two classes. Everything else questionable were fairly common house rules.
| U-233 chapter 1 . 5/8/2013
I had fun reading it.
Still, that's awfully game-y. Consciously obsesses overs 3.5 rules, but doesn't seem to actually try to follow them much. And the protagonist repeatedly makes plans assuming the presence of house rules before finding about those houserules (crystal swarm vs DR, swiftblade stuff, spellwarped ECL related stuff, probably lots more).
| Saphroneth chapter 1 . 4/20/2013
This is damn awesome. Hoping to see more of it.
