This scene was awesome, I loved the Romeo and Juliet quote
| cindylili chapter 14 . 2/13
I love this chapter, though, especially since Haymitch actually lived through the rebellion - he could've had a child...

This is lovely. You characterised Haymitch perfectly and everything flowed very well. Great job with this, well done.
| classically chapter 9 . 8/7/2013
this gives me so many chills. i love how you managed to expand on
haymitch's personality, and all the relationships of his which held so
much potential for more fleshing out in the novels. i really really do
like this collection. it's bittersweet, sharp, and lovely.
| lizzington95 chapter 27 . 7/21/2013

But seriously, it was amazing.

| faults chapter 17 . 9/5/2012
'And he's screaming, so loudly that it feels like his lungs will shatter, and he just might want them to.'
I love all of them so far, your Haymitch is brilliant, and this is terribly sad.
| classically chapter 23 . 7/30/2012
"'did you love her?' he asks, after a moment in which haymitch downs the rest of the wine to avoid looking at him. who? he wants to say, but he wouldn't be fooling anyone. so he laughs and yanks the cork out of another bottle. 'not everyone's a star-crossed lover, kid.'"
i those few lines broke my heart, a little.
a lot. maybe.
