Hilarious. Love the vision of Virgil being a secret Master DJ and Gordon's complete bemusement as he discovers him!

Especially love Gordon comparing TB2 to a giant green cane toad. Hilarious.

Really, really good story. I'm amazed you've not uploaded anything since (although admittedly ffnet isn't the most user friendly of sites!) - you really should do, this was brilliant!

Sorry for not finding this sooner, I see you posted it quite a while back, but I must have missed it.

Up front, I'd like to say this is a good first story. (Amazing what a bout of flu can do for you - one of mine had the same source; is there a Fever Muse, I wonder?).

I liked the idea that Virgil feels he can play the classics in public but wants to keep his more modern compostions secret. And of course Gordon would see the potential of his discovery!

A couple of points - first a 'hangEr' is what you put a shirt on. TB2 lives in a hangAr. (Don't worry, you aren't the first to make that one!).

Second, as another more experienced author told me when I was starting 'avoid cliches like the plague'.

But that said, I enjoyed the story and hope to see more from you (though hopefully without your having to have the flu next time!)

It's silly, true, but it had me laughing out loud in places. It's well written too, giving the reader a good impression of Virgil and Gordon's reactions to everything that happens. I could certainly see Gordon being as wicked as he is at the end and biding his time.

Hey Annie, welcome to the world of fanfic writers! Good to see you here. There's something to be said for flu and insomnia, though I'm guessing the whole experience of posting wasn't exactly stress-free either. (I know it terrifies me!)

I can't resist a Virgil fic and I knew you'd handle the characters well. It's absolutely believeable that Virgil would have a few secret vices - a love of Pirates of the Caribbean and trance music no less. Great stuff!

This really made me laugh, especially the description of Virgil dancing around - 3 keyboards is quite impressive! Poor Virgil - Gordon is really going to make him suffer. This was a great story, especially as it's your first.

Hope you're feeling better now and that you bring us more stories.
