This Snape and Hermione seem to be different than those of TFW and I rather enjoy them and their new setting. I especially enjoy that you make us feel what Hermione feels in your writing with descriptive and to-the-point passages.

I'm glad you decided to update! Can't wait for the next one!

Great chapter. I hope that Hermione figures something out, Severus needs some help.

I meant to review for this chapter yesturday.

Again, I don't know how you create such interesting plots! I first got hooked on "The Five Winters" and oneday I looked at the left hand corner and it said "Anubis Ankh, Author of 3 stories". So I decide to check out these two new stories of yours.

At first this fanfiction reminded me of "The Princess of Gryffindor" by Aurette but this is all you. I'm glad you're writing this and when more people read it, I'm sure it will be as sucessful as "The Five Winters".

I especially enjoy that you keep Crookshanks in the story and Harry and Ron somewhat out of the scene for now.

Ha! Hermione can't say a thing to the Order now~! And looks like she got too emotional when he lacked confidence in her by performing the silencing spell-I can't wait for what you do with that.

With "The Five Winters" you incorporated Egyptian things, I can't wait for more Japanese things you put into this story. Like a futon! haha. Oh, that would be funny, Severus in a futon. haha!

I don't have an account here but I enjoy reading the stories. I never review so this is really surprising that I am writing this! I really like the setting of your story and congratulate you on seamlessly diffusing the japanese culture into the wizarding world. it works very well!

The characterization of Hermione is very good, and I like that you don't go into Severus' POV. It's definitely a better read compared to other stories for that reason.

I do think that Hermione's reaction in this chapter to being spelled to silence is brushed over too quickly. Hermione, even if she has grown and learned to hold her tongue, would not be coaxed out of her anger after being relegated to 'house elf' status. Admitted, since you had Severus reveal his true intentions it kind of makes any further adverse reactions moot.

Anyhow, that was my only critique, otherwise I really enjoy this story and will continue to read it!

Haha, so Severus revealed it all. Finally. He seems to need a confidante anyways. Too bad Hermione is bound to silence. And even if she could tell where Severus' allegiances are they are not likely to believe him and the Order might wreck their plans. Besides, I guess Hermione could just not say: "Severus. I'm really Hermione Granger and as you know a member of the Order so could you take off this silencing spell so that I could tell them about the real you?".

I love this story already. Can't wait for the next chapter!
