You can see that Ron really thinks highly of Bill and Charlie and sees them as cool older brothers. It's really sweet how they get to bond for a few moments )

This is my favourite chapter so far. Charlie seems like such a cool older brother, he usually is just described that way but without much evidence that the audience gets to see. Thanks for bringing him to life!

I enjoyed this chapter but in the interest of canon, where's Fred's remark about wrestling a troll? Still, it was a nice chapter and I felt sorry for Ron!

In the next and final chaptre...well,a year-old cliffy? Even we already know what'll happen (the nose dirt thingie) it's still fun to read it from someone who has a gift&talent with words.

Your chapters are like beautifully drawn portraits, windows into Ron as a character. I know I probably sound like a toady by now, but I can't help it - they're just so great! And I love that this story is proof that fiction on this site doesn't have to be in the romance section to be good - let's face it, lots of that stuff is trite and cliched anyways. Look at Ron, already forgetting what Charlie told him. Lol, us guys never learn do we? You've really given me new appreciation for Ron as a character - despite the many, many times I've read the books, I've seldom given a lot of thought to him. Now I can see him in a whole new light.

This is funny, but also quite sad, cos I never thought seriously about what made Ron who he was, all the insecurities about expectations and achievement - I mean, I knew about them superficially, but never really considered them in the context of his character. Now I'm given a chance at witnessing them in a story. Thank you.

Very cute. I love how it puts the spotlight on Ron, a character so often overlooked as a sidekick to Harry and sometimes even Hermione. It's easy to think of him as just a loyal, kinda silly third wheel to the trio but this chapter dispels all of that, giving him an origin and revealing his insecurities. Looking forward to the next chapter!
