| palewski96 chapter 18 . 4/4
I love the story so far you should continue it.
| scorpioneldar chapter 7 . 3/18
it doesnt matter where in the sol system you park it them jumping out anywhere with a sigh-line to earth is a bad idea
hell even within the scanning range of the citadel id a bad idea though it is unlikely you could get outside of it
the reapers don't need to come out on target they just need to know where the target is! even 3 relay jumps away would not be safe enough! they can cover that ground in a day! while fighting ! ME3 showed us that
and frankly if we cant beat 300 hatak there is no way we could handle even a dozen reapers
and there are millions that will pour out of that thing
| scorpioneldar chapter 6 . 3/18
it makes sense that it was built for the nebula though as it is powered in part by it
it is worrysome that we have moved the only access the reapers have to our system back to earth
the reapers will come out right on top of us when they come
i was surprised Nazara showed up at all the asari controlled the citadel for over 5000 years before the reapers came back
and it is over 150 years in the future that they come back from the time of your story
if i remember right a stable galactic civilization and control of the citadel are requirements for the cycle to resume
still it is interesting and i think you gave Nazara adequate power
did he sink and earth ship? i wonder what that will do back home
also one ship did get it worse than them the oddesy was split in 2 if i read your story right they said the rest of the fleet did not get it as bad as the Normandy but unless "the Oddesy split at the neck" means something other than what i think it does we lost a ship there
| scorpioneldar chapter 5 . 3/18
ok as soon as i read that you made the normandy i had problems
the normandy SR1 was a joint turrian-human venture combining knowlage and experience of both races even with the mars cache neither group alone had the capacity to create the stealth systems used in the SR1 additionally things like the command post/starmap locaton were pure turian standard
the SR2 was essentially a copy of the SR1 scaled up to cruiser level (from frigate) involved an experimental and illegal A.I. that took several years of resurch on an active A.I. race not to mention the basic core of another A.I. race (namely the reapers yes your ship is technically a re-purposed human build reaper) to build
there is no way that SG1 earth has the resources to match ME even in game 1 remember humainty has a larger colony base even before we meet the turians in that universe than we have in SG1 and it explodes even further in the years between the first contact war and the actual game
advanced tech i will buy advanced enough to hurt the Gouauld in ways never before seen by one not of their own or the asgaurd heck i will even give you that.
enough to make 3 working copys of the cutting edge tech demo prototype first of it's kind joint project stealth frigate? in a year? nope i don't buy it
cool but no freaking way
especially as the presence of EDI makes it the SR2... nope nope nope
hell reapers and geth have not been encountered yet so how did they make this A.I.? using the replicators as a base?
i had one more thing to say but i forgot it somewere in the rant. it was acctually a complement too.
all that said im enjoying the story but my suspension of disbelief is starting to fray a bit here
there is just no way that they tech jumped that far and it bugs me
off to read more sorry this is so harsh the good things i wanted to say have escaped me... i should start off with the good next time huh...
| scorpioneldar chapter 3 . 3/18
meh never mind discloser covers my concerns inttersting development
| scorpioneldar chapter 2 . 3/18
problem you can see pluto and it's moons from a telescope these days even back then a high end one would be able to see the difference between space station and moon (outlines are diffrent color refraction shift ect. anyone who ever looked at pluto's moon prior to this event would know something is up if they looked
furthermore this wont just go away like the attack fleet did short term you can claim insanity halucination drugs and other perception distortion long term that is much harder to do
| Guest chapter 2 . 2/16
yew this is good
| The Dead Romantic chapter 18 . 1/3
best crossover ever, its a shame that you stopped updating. would have killed to see how it progresses
| Flameraven chapter 18 . 10/30/2014
Vulcan is about the only first contact I've ever really seen that is all around helpful. Even the Vulcan's holding us back of as long as they did was most likely for the best, I really would have hatted to see what would have happened to earth had we run into the Klingons at an earlier time in our history.
Andorian first contact wasn't that bad all things considered. But even there we where more caught in the middle then really being attacked or helped by either side.
About the only time I can think of that Earth kicked the crap out of someone during a first contact is when WE are the bad guys. Though I vaguely remember a TNG episode where the Enterprise D is threated by people with lasers as there only form of weaponry. They don't attack but it was about the same as taking on an M1A1 Abrams with a bb gun.
| Arekanderu chapter 18 . 10/10/2014
Nice. I am curious though. Are you going to include more exotic races from the Stargate universe like say the Gadmeerm or Oranians or Reol , Reetou and so on?
| polarpwnage chapter 2 . 8/3/2014
"The plasma bolts splashed across the kinetic barriers of the Prometheus"?
What does plasma have to do with KINETIC barriers?!
| Guest chapter 11 . 7/6/2014
Your timeline is messed up the asari found citadel 2000ish years before humans did and its only like 2009 and the humans have the citadel with no sign of the asari and the salarians found the citadel only a few hundred years after the asari
