There aren't too many Breaking Bad stories, which is both good and bad in my book. It's bad because it's difficult to get my fangirl fix while waiting for the next episode. It's good because Breaking Bad is just one of those shows that are so high quality and so untouchable that most people probably couldn't get the characterizations right even if they tried. I probably couldn't do it. But you can.

I know that this was AU. I personally love AUs and I personally love THIS AU. And I think that you really managed to capture the complexities of both the characters and their lives in this show. Your writing flows really well and I could see this all playing out easily in my head; none of it seemed too unbelievable to me. Nobody was out of character. And I do admit to tearing up a bit at the end of this.

Please, do us all a favor, write more BB. I'm sure whatever you write, it will be amazing.

I would've anticipated Jane's death, and I can't believe that he actually did the right thing and called her father. But you did include the inevitable binge, and for circumstances I would't have expected, you wrote Jesse's perspective very well. Your writing is a perfect interpretation of Breaking Bad.

I don't know how, if at all, this chapter in particular has any spoilers. I guess that's because I'm so far into the show that I can't keep all of the shocking revalations straight anymore.

I felt like the last sentence was a little too abstract, and it offsets the poignancy slightly. At the same time, however, Holly and Junior are hugely important to both Skylar and the storyline.

Anyway, yeah. I love it.
