Really wish there's no romance in this.

The only reason I don't like it was because it felt too forced. And, not just iny a story perspective. Too many people goaded Hiccup to give himself away and the 'romance' with Doris came from a really bad beginning where she forced herself on him. If it was written in a different way where Hiccup had no one trying to force him and Doris together and there was no SA, I wouldn't mind it.

this chapter was disgusting. I hated the sexual assault.

The story takes place around the 10th century (based on Arnulf the Great's reign starting in 918), English is not a common language everywhere in the world. French nobleman speaking English and Norse is fair, but Hungarian men speaking English? I doubt it, speaking multiple languages at this time is not a common sight and even then it would not be English, High Old German would be much more likely in this part of the world. (Considering they share a border with East Francia.)

At this point, I'm routing for a Hiccup x Camicazi pairing.

toothless *talking*about hiccup having the advantage of the human mind whilst he's creating full sentences and uses hypotheticals and referencing non physical objects like imagination is kinda backhanded
if dragons in this fic were more instinct and less full on Brain processes and conscious sentience then I'd be bound to agree that yes ,Hiccup does have an advantage over toothless in that aspect

but in this fic,he doesn't have any advantage other than opposible thumbs

As a Hungarian it was a pleasants surprise when I read Hungarian text. The part where hiccup was offered pálinka pretty much as soon as he was inside the yurt was very accurate.
