Admittedly, this is a bit darker and more graphic than I usually read, but what makes this story intellectually terrifying is know that Hotch already endured Foyet and now this. The comparisons between Foyet and this UnSub were chilling and precise. The rescue was painful to read because of the humiliation of being found in such a state, yet unflinching as it should be.
