This is by far the greatest Remus/Severus friendship fic I've seen in a long time! The way you used Severus and Lily's failing friendship to spark the new one with Remus is enough to make me a loyal reader. You're writing is engaging and the way you handle the other three marauders is terrific as well! I hope you update soon!

Great chapter, I'm enjoyed reading a chapter from Sev's POV. And the part in class where Remus sat beside Snape was good, I enjoyed it.

But the ending had me hoping that Malfoy doesn't put in this strained at times friendship. Curse that long haired blond arrogant man... And I'm curious is the person using the invisibilty cloak Peter or not?

I like the idea of Lupin and Snape becoming friends. Your version of it is a little too slick to be fully believable (in my opinion), but the characters remain recognizable, and that counts for a lot in my book.

Great chapter, I was wondering when the other three would come across Severus. Glad you didn't drag it out too long before this point while putting in a lot of detail giving you a good idea of what time has been like between Severus and Remus.

Although it had me sitting on the edge of my seat waiting to see what they were going to do and if Remus might lose some of his friends.

The ending though has me gasping, it's going to be a hard conversation between Severus and Remus and the other three have the potential to make things worse. I hope Severus will understand well enough and accept Remus despite the fact that he's a werewolf.

Beautiful chapter, I enjoyed it a lot. Snape and Lupin are my favorite characters since I started to get into the whole Harry Potter'verse. Fenrir Greyback though comes in close though for being a favorite lol.

I like the whole idea of Severus and Remus being friends, it's very believable and a good choice for you to make.

Wow. When I first read the summary, I wasn't expecting much. To be honest, I've only read two good marauders-become-friends-with-Snape fic, and they were both centered around James rather than Remus, even though the latter is the more obvious choice. You exceeded all my expectations, and within your two first chapters completely pulled me into the story.

I really like your depiction of the characters and their personalities, particularly of Snape's own insecurities...

I really want to know what happens next! :) please update!

I've poked through a few "making friends with Snape" stories, and I don't think I've seen one yet that wasn't some sort of time travel story, so this was a nice surprise. I look forward to more.
