Edward really deserves the dog house, maybe more. Men can be so damn clueless, sigh. Great chapter!

I really feel after reading this chapter that edward is a selfish insensitive fool who puts his car above his wife , who relies on public transport to get around and lets a man into their home and then blames bella for the confrontation , he has certainly lost touch with whats important , i can see bella's resentment building to a point of no return , but he knows this he's already caught an insight into how she feels , he's seems to be hoping that things will fix themselves up but they wont until he can make bella a priority , i just hope there wont be a third party involvement that would truly kill what little spark there is left

I love your story, it's a perspective I haven't seen done this well before. You actually had me hating Edward in the middle of this chapter! I didn't think it could be done. LOL So is Bella really going to France? What these two need is intense therapy or at least a good knock up side the head. Geez, communicate already. I can't wait to see how your going to weave the story around to a happier more mature couple.

Ok. I understand he has his hands full with his residency. But Edward looked like a self absorbed, clueless, spoiled brat this chapter. Sighs...off to buy more kleenex!

I'll have faith, but I tell you I don't blame her for being upset.
| katmom chapter 3 . 10/5/2010
First, I'm glad his eyes are opened, but this still makes me so sad...for them both!
Although it does seem from this perspective that HE is being the bigger idiot...
LOL...he needs to be told that foreplay begins with picking up your OWN messes...and folding a load of laundry or three can really turn a woman on...
So, no sea monkees...a cooking class! Just as long as JL is nowhere near her...shudder...
I hope Bella tells him what the scum said to her...because I want to KNOW! LOL
Thanks for sharing...and I'm holding onto that Faith!

As tough as this is, I'm so glad they nearly connected...NEARLY being the operative word...
He really needs to have his brain opened...and things stirred up...
LOVED seeing her take MN down...
Now she needs to grab Edward and pin him...and tell him the way it is...
So, what was the ad?
She's probably NOT going to buy sea monkeys...

Interesting story. I like the realistic look on marriage life. Just because the characters are called ’Bella and Edward’ does not mean they have to have the perfect marriage. Bella needs to learn to talk and Edward needs to learn to make time for his wife. But that’s easier said than done.
At least Edward loves his work. I am glad Bella at least tries to find an outlet, too, instead of giving up. And I liked the sweet moment they shared (before Edward’s work interrupted them).
I am looking forward to following this story.

I like how you are making this very realistic.

Poor Edward he finally puts the moves on her and then gets called off to work. I was really hoping they'd get a little bit of their connection back. My husband is a student right now (I think that's why I like this story so much) and when we get to a point where tension is running high it really helps to connect intimately.
I don't know how I'd feel if I was in Bella's situation. Poor thing is working a job she hates and has a husband she never sees and who doesn't understand what she's going through. It's also unfair that Edward really likes his co workers and has an outlet. Bella needs cooking class or a group of friends close by!
Ok my prediction is she's off to Italy to cook for two months. Usually, I'm not a big fan of running away, but with as busy as Edward is I might have to make an acceptation. Especially, if it's a case of absence makes the heart grow fonder.
I really like this story and I'm thirsting for more. I can't wait for your next up date!

Oh, you can see them really trying, but neither of them always hears what the other is saying. I like their compromise on the toaster, and that they did attempt to get busy.

kind of want to hit them both for not communicating and attempting to invest in their own relationship. boo
