| SonOfNenji chapter 1 . 2/22
Satisfactory build-up, but an unsatisfying climax.
The ending simply... petered out without really doing anything.
Simply goading them into war by using his influence to return fire wasn't good enough, didn't show enough Slytherin qualities.
To improve this story you should have put more emphasis on the legalese and have Harry manipulate the system rather than merely inciting war. That was very reckless, thoughtless of him, simply making him a darker Gryffindor.
Being a mean Gryffindor does not make Harry more cunning than he is. It just makes him a jerk

I don't think Harry would be this stupid.
After he left the bank he would have told both Ron and Hermione about what happened.
Ron may not have cared since it wasn't his money that was basically stolen but Hermione would have freak out when he explained it to her. He would have been able to come up with a better plan that make a rebellion with her and some others to bounce his ideas off of until they got something better.
Literally off the top of my head he could have just goaded goblin after goblin into attacking him in the bank or alley to kill them if he wanted to just by calling them liars and thieves to their faces. They would attack and he could kill in self defense without problems. He could have everyone withdraw their money/stuff from the bank, no longer add money into it, and started his own bank up. There were enough people at that time that would flock to have their money in Potter Bank over the lying thieving goblin bank who stole from their hero. He could get sanctions on them from the icw/ministry to tax them into poverty even.
So many ideas that could work for his revenge beside simply starting a war, since he should have wanted to avoid one since he just finished one.

Oh this is a thoroughly amusing idea. It would be really cool to see it fleshed out a bit.
| Arafell chapter 1 . 1/24
You know, even out of LOTR goblins make great fodder for wizard target practice.
Highly entertaining one shot.
| beulah2013 chapter 1 . 1/12
I liked it... which scares me a bit.

Interesting. And nice to see a Harry who uses his brains .
| BlueEyedBrigadier chapter 1 . 12/7/2013
Well now...sometimes a good ole cleaning of filth is just what is needed to get things started back in the right direction. And seeing this version of the Goblin Nation put to the sword for their behaviour is very satisfying, Nia ;D
The only complaint I can see is Hermione calling Harry racists when she knows he's protected non-human magicals whenever he could, especially since I can't see Harry not pointing out the Goblins behaviour as harmful to the Wizarding World. And it's not like she hasn't pushed a line a time or two...

Sneaky! I like it!
| moonprincess97524 chapter 1 . 11/7/2013
Harry started a war/rebellion just so he could kill a few goblin's without getting in trouble? wonderful.
| ssj3gohan007 chapter 1 . 9/18/2013
awesome story! It was pretty enlightening, usually fanfics show goblins go out of their way to be nice to Harry Potter and the vaults he claims only massively increase his wealth and power. This story, on the other hand, reminds you that goblins are not so 'nice'.

hehe... goblins go BOOM! it'd be interesting to see what happens afterwards or to some of the others the goblins have tricked.
