Wow. Now I'm really depressed. Those eight chapters just destroyed my entire fantasy world. Great writing. Incredibly sad concept. I take my hat off for you; being able to write stuff like that is a good gift. You kept to main idea while still being able to insert a few good one-liners before the end. I'll just go cry in a corner now... Yeah. Good writing though, like I said before.

It was humorous and touching at the same time. You might want to go through the whole story one more time and triple check your spelling and grammar.
