I thought this chapter was well written. I know you were concerned about 'getting into Bella's head' but it all fits with what you have written so far.

The relationship between Bella and Renee is well portrayed and interaction between other characters is good and it'll be interesting to see how it progresses.

Will be waiting patiently (or not so!) for the next chapter.
