Hahahahahaha holy shit I love it. Hugs will save the galaxy indeed. For a moment I thought I was reading a crackfic.

So, this fic is excellent. The scope is vast - I feared an unfinished fic when I started reading simply because you cover SO MUCH GROUND that 50 chapters hardly seemed adequate. I am delighted to have been mistaken. I deeply appreciate the work put into the Ani-Obi relationship. I have a number of issues with the prequel trilogy, and the top of the list is the way relationships between the characters are handled. “Anakin was a good friend.” In the entire prequel trilogy, I feel like that was on display for maybe all of the Battle of Coruscant. The rest of the time, I didn’t buy it. This fic made me believe. It wasn’t always pretty, or nice, or gentle - but it was always loving and affirming. “Hugs can save the universe” indeed.

However, for all the work you did on their friendship/ family / brotherhood, Anakin still almost Fell. And that was genius. It was a nail biter to the finish in his duel with Palpatine, and you absolutely earned that ending. Incredibly well done.

I absolutely love this story and your writing style - both of you! You build the suspense and keep Anakin's struggles real. Even the bond cannot solve Anakin's problems for him without him engaging in some struggle (I like that you don't make it easy, even with a significant bond with Obi-wan. You also do such a great job finding the small nuances of mistrust between Anakin and Obi-wan and forcing them to be addressed. Obi-wan's solution to Anakin's potential fall is so very Obi-wan; he is such a great father/brother and being a parental figure is the hardest job ever, which no one realizes until they suddenly find themselves in that role. I also like that you keep Ahsoka in the story and she does not leave the Jedi. I found that "Ahsoka" arc unbelievable because I don't think Obi-wan as a council member would ever permit Ahsoka to be put to death as it goes against everything that he believes in. I cannot say enough good things about this story. Loved it. Wish this had been how canon played out . . .sometimes the good guys need to win. Thank you!

Wow. Just wow. This fic is absolutely AMAZING and I love how it really explores Obi-Wan and Anakin's bond. Yay for super-bond! Sometimes I feel that their bond is neglected in favor of the Padme-Anakin relationship, so this fic really was great on that front. I think I loved this last arc most of all, though I loved every minute of reading this.

I LOVE how Dooku died as a jedi and by protecting younglings! Thank you for writing this!
