Kayleigh1789 chapter 1 . 2/27
Holy shit this is cool. I love how you brought the relationship of Alfred and Arthur without making it romantic or USUK. It came off a brotherly to me, which is what they are; brothers

Little Patch of Heaven chapter 1 . 12/14/2010
Very nicely done. I always had a nagging thought that there was possibly more to the hero complex, but I never really thought about it this way.

And I love that part where it says that Arthur, giving Alfred his freedom even though it's breaking him, is the hero and Alfred is suddenly frightened becasue "heros only fight villians." I also like that you just left it at that, and didn't come outright at say he was the villian, just implied it.

Very well written too. Definitely favoriting.

Is this a one-shot? Because if it isn't, I would love to see this continued. Your writing style is truly lovely, and even this little bit has me unbelievably captivated. A new take on Alfed's hero obsession is very refreshing. :)
