That was absolutely amazing! Such a great story and so damn original that it had me laughing and crying and fearful all at once. Love, love, LOVED this final chapter, I thought it was perfect! Too many authors try and tie up every loose ending and follow up on every characters' reactions, but I thought the simple conversation between Damon and Elena was simply beautiful! Praise to your coffee maker which spurred you onwards! I look forward to reading any other fics of yours :)

i love love loved the story. it was creepy, and suspenseful and real. your timing was perfect as i dont feel damon and elena got together too fast which is what i often feel with other stories. you write beautifully, and thank you for this story.

This fic has definitely been one of my favorites. It was well written and very imaginative. However, I think you ended it a bit too soon. I, for one, vote for a sequel or at least an epilogue. All in all though, fantastic job!

Loved every single bit of it. Also love how not everything is going to be magically fixed, but it's more like a gate that's been finally unlocked. This was a really good story, but I'm confused about one thing, how lonng were they in there? Because it would have hd to have been long enough for elena to have eaten all of the food, even while rationing it, and then start starving which takes longer than 2 days. More like 4 or 5 to be nearing death. So how did the whole thing last less than a week? Anyway other than that I loved the ending. I really liked the idea that they're still "stuck" with each other and I think you wrote Damon as vulnerable very well. As for the rose episode, I agree that Damon is probably not ready for a relationship with elena yet but I don't think he knows it. And lastly, I completely share your love of coffee. 3

I loved the finale of your story. Not too much drama, and they fell into knowing that they were now staying together nice and easy. LOVED it.
