Written well. Much better than the majority, but basically a quintessential fanfic from over a decade prior. Constant backtracking and running around in circles and Ichigo being emotionally, mentally and physically cock blocked to no end. Same stuff over and over, really.

One of the many downfalls of fanfictions: People want to change some stuff, but rarely put in any more thought to the idea. I mean... What's the point in time travel or a fix it if you just repeat everything anyway except with some slight twists? Fanfic is creative freedom. Use it. Honestly hate how the older Bleach and Naruto and HP and etc fanfics can be written so well but end up being so linear. Good luck.

All and all, it would describe this story as middling. When broken down into base content, pretty much just a rehash of canon with the tweak of Orihime getting power instead. Ichigo makes very few changes, and even less of them are meaningful. Read as a "time-travel fix-it", this story is actually pretty bad.

...Until this chapter. Because one of the few real changes has been the twists are character relationships; some closer, others more distant. But it is not until this chapter that any of those changes have any kind of pay-off.

Ichigo is driven by is bonds with others, but especially his family. Most time travel stories have him wanting to save others who died previously, but that ultimately effects the story little. This story functions as pseudo-deconstruction of that very idea; with the changes made to the time-line butterflying to much, the people left in their wake are different from how they were before.

None more so than the Kurosaki family, particularly Ichigo, and to have all of the change and twisted feelings implode like this is an amazing and heart-breaking read. I genuinely just cried, and any story that can do that is worth reading for that alone.

you know I don't think I've mentioned this before, but I really don't find this reality plausible. I've seen no mention of what the reason would be for orihime being ichigos replacement other then meh... I wish it so.

there's no explanation for her high spiritual pressure and it seems like you are just transferring ichigos to orihime... not figuratively, literally. with ichigo in the original, there were hints that he was something special... with orihime, there's not.

I really hope Ichigo trains her or something they have so much common, they’d literally be unstoppable. Also poor Ichigo, ptsd is never fun.

I love everything about this, especially orihime and rukia’s realtionship. It’s nice to see the parallels and differences compared to Ichigo and rukias timeline.

I just skimmed through this chapter. So... the protagonist clearly desires Orihime. He is so dumbfucking crazily dense he doesn't even realize it himself despite his hollow who he is trusting (at least according to what was earlier stated) is literally screaming it into his face.

And then he goes on a date with a completely different girl.

Color me amazed at how idiotic this was. This story has 200k words but I think this is it for me. The author just wants to make an unnecessary drama to get something to write about but this... is not how it is done. Making your MC dumber for the sake of plot is NEVER the way. There is a clear REASON why it worked with Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece. First, these were manga/anime, second, they were mostly about combat and struggling to get stronger.
This story is more about his second chance and he is already stronger/experienced... or at least was supposed to be, so making him totally clueless is just a testament to just how big of a waste of time this story was.

Dense protagonist. It isn't necessarily bad but in this story, Ichigo is so dense it is borderline retarded.

wow this is amazing story...i know you're expecting long review, but i have no word to describe this story except "amazing". i realised you need some times to get good inspirations to write such an amazing story like this and i will patiently wait for you to come back with new chapter. please don't give up.
