This is one of the few fanfics that I have found that actually do a good job of the entire 'travel to the other world to fix it' genre. I always found it annoying how everything always seems to go for the better in them, or at the very least for everyone but the main character who naturally has to struggle throughout the story.
The entire way you handled Ichigo and the original Ichigo's family was so well done I had to congratulate you before continuing to read the story, since the way you portrayed the problems the original Ichigo's family had was heartbreaking. It really does make sense though, as I have seen several fanfics that suffer from the way people just accept that the person they are now talking to is completely different from the one they used to know with a simple 'oh you come from the future/other world? Oh well.' and completely disregard the fact that the 'original' is now gone (whether it be due to natural causes as here or the direct result of the main character's jump through time/dimensions replacing with the original)
Cant say much until I finish the rest, but it is quite unfortunate that this story seems to be on hiatus/dropped/exceptionally long update.
Will be adding this to the alert list just on the off chance you do decide to continue.

WOW... I have no words for the epicness of this story! It is incredibly well thought out and written, has an excellent plot, and i tell ya, that part when Ichigo was going through all that emotional stuff with his family, and those flashbacks... Literally had me in tears! Like i went through 2 rolls of tissue in like, an hour... You really convey ichi's emotion quite well, and this story is just so magnificent! PLEEEEEESE UPDATE SOON! I love this story so much! Don't drop it!

I'll admit, that was a truly heart warming AU. I look forward to what comes next.

Just a thought, will you be giving Ichigo a resurrection? More varied attacks with Zangetsu? A greater application of Orihime's power would be great; it has such ungodly potential that the manga just completely disregards.

Nice. Very good story. It's a hella emotional, and it's kinda tough to read some of his emotional moment. It's feels...emo, that's the best word.

But very good fight, though I wish the fight were a bit cooler and flashier.
