| Escha chapter 1 . 10/22/2012
I agree. That's why Ichigo is a nice guy.
| CelestialxXxAngel chapter 1 . 4/6/2012
i also pity him
good chapter :)
| Lai Jun Chen chapter 1 . 5/2/2011
interesting analysis of the situation, but it seems rather true to me. i don't often come across writiers who do analytical pieces, rather than stories. i like it- and aizen certainly did seem a bit pitiable in the end
| X59 chapter 1 . 3/4/2011
this was masterfully done.
While I didn't hate that Ichigo pitied Aizen, I really didn't understand it.
Thanks for allowing to understand it.
| CrazyTeddyBear chapter 1 . 2/6/2011
I really liked this oneshot, it was deep, and the way you tied all the thoughts together made the story interesting to read.
| Queen of the Random Word chapter 1 . 12/28/2010
Very in-depth about Ichigo's perspective with his battle with Aizen, and it was well written, the only flaws in this fan fic, I had noticed were some minor typos in the content. The typos were simply words with missing letters in them like "Puled" in stead of "Pulled" and "pus" instead of "push", but that can easily be fixed.
| lotus-bugxm9 chapter 1 . 12/5/2010
I liked this:D Ichigo to me deffiantly felt pity for Aizen. Heck he even addmits his feels about the whole thing to Urahara aftwards while brooding with hat/clogs saying "why are you looking like that for?" As Ichigo feels things beyond pity even I think? As he in the end was trying/without knowing it to gain knowlege to somehow figure Aizen out not really trully wishing to kill him. For no he doesn't hate the man really i think.
To me Aizen seemes real lonly:( Even gin didn't understand him that why he coundn't kill him. And that last battle with Ichigo was way to quick for it to be offically over. no way! Naw Aizen will come back in the future...somehow lolz
| Eldar-Melda chapter 1 . 10/21/2010
Very-well written. I'm Aizen big fan to be honest. I think he couldn't bear to be treated like this by one of his opponents. I don't mind it at all. He would react in anger for sure.
Pity could be a good word for describing Ichigo's thoughts at 423. He has seen to much of Aizen and couldn't bear his actions anymore for treating everyone as if they are nothing more but something under him.
| Ginnya chapter 1 . 10/18/2010
Yes, why not have. Aizen deserves it. He flew so high that he didn't notice when he started falling.
I really like this story mainly because it shows that Ichigo is Human.
After all, in the end we all want power. Doesn't matter what kind of Power we all crave it. It's the means that matter.
| CressidaRene chapter 1 . 10/18/2010
Very touching one-shot, beautifully written. The fact that Ichigo can feel pity for Aizen instead of hatred shows how much he has matured through all of his experiences, while still keeping with his character. Ichigo has always been forgiving of his enemies, before turning them into allies and friends. (Uryu, Renji, Ikkaku, Kenpachi, even Byakuya, and I would hope if we ever get to see him again, Grimmjow.) But for al that Aizen has done, all that Aizen has cost him, I don't expect Ichigo to ever strike up a friendship with him. But he can feel pity for the waste of his life, the waste of so much potential, and for the sorrow he caused so many people.
Bleach has always been a philosophical story, so I don't know why people would be surprised or angry about this aspect of the story.
| cloudstrifejen chapter 1 . 10/18/2010
Even the most evil person has a dark past that was far more uglier than anyone. It seems that not everything you see are black & white.
| Diluted159 chapter 1 . 10/18/2010
you put this into words so beautifully!
Aizen is actually my favorite character, and your take on what was going through everyone's minds is very interesting, and probably close to the truth.
Wish there was a bit more of a back-story for Aizen though, (hopefully kubo will fill us in)
| Guest chapter 1 . 10/18/2010
True. I hate Aizen to the depths of the Earth..but if I were Ichigo, I would really feel a big disappointment for Aizen. One, he is a genius...and if he used his brain for useful things..and not to conquer SS, then maybe he could be my top two fave character in Bleach. (But I guess he tops the number one villain spot for me...that guy is sooo disturbing.) Two, we don't know his backstory, his reason/s or maybe the things that provoked him to betray SS; the 'take over the SS' surely wasn't enough, and there could be some happenings to be looked into for further understanding of his character. I mean, Aizen who 'one day wanted to be the God of everyone' is kinda lame. Wish Tite Kubo would write more of his side of the story (the backstory)
Two-thumbs up on this one
