Awww Betti, that was lovely. I love the fact that when I read one of your stories I feel it too. It's very clever how you do that. Good luck in the competition. Xxx

| Purpleem89 chapter 1 . 10/21/2010
good story i love how it's like you can read an autistic persons mind (i my self is autistic and while we think just like everybody else or similar it's sometimes hard to put into words but thank god we can be taught to be a pretty normal functioning person) i have asbergers which is a form of autism and it's not as bad as it used to be like when i was young thanks to my little brother but i have my moments
anyway keep up the awesome work sorry for rambling on

Liked your story. It is really different. Edward and Bella are so sweet together.
| RaShelli chapter 1 . 10/20/2010
Oh, Betti, this is unbelievably good! Sexy, yet tender and sweet, very touching and "real". You've created yet another perfect couple out of old good Bella and Edward - easily recognizable, but totally different and fresh. You, my dear are super talented!

Well, my dear, I know that you know me for epically funny reviews, and when the circumstances warrant, I am quite content to oblige. But this little gem is just beautiful, not funny, but sweet and warm. I loved the premise, each in their own way stunted by circumstance; they find love and acceptance with each other. You are so very good with Special Edwards and this one is endearingly open with his Easybella, which made me laugh because I was thinking you were gonna write slutty Bella. LOL. In any case, I liked the glimpse into the world of developmental disorders. People often mistake autism for developmentally disabled and that simply isn't the case. Your Bella was lovely as well. So painfully emotionally abused by a man who used her and then cast her aside when he decided to move forward. The image of her trying to find a cat for comfort and being unable to pick one of them was indescribably painful and evocative of her feelings of being unloved and unwanted. In Edward she finds a like reflection of need, want and love. Very nice, sweets. Get better soon!

I loved this fic! I have two family members with autism and i really liked the relationship between bella and edward; from carer to lover. Very beautiful. x

After the end of the contest you should continue with this story and make it into a full-length story. It's really good
| DeJean Smith chapter 1 . 10/20/2010
Wow! Just so beautifully done. Truly!
| onePushyFox chapter 1 . 10/20/2010
I have to admit that when I first started reading this and realized not only is Bella older than Edward but used to be his nanny of sorts, I was afraid of the ick factor. Then there was the additional fact that Edward has autism and there was a potential for him to be taken advantage of. But once again, Betti, you've taken two broken characters and made them beautifully whole. The way their individual weaknesses became strengths in this relationship was so uplifting. And then there was the fact that it was F#CK HAWT!
You did an amazing job, as always, and I was so thrilled (and discomposed and turned on and...) to read it.
Good luck in the contest, doll!

i would just like to say that i know this is all about popping cherries andall that but thank you for understanding autistic children. i have a son and he is very much like how you painted Edward here. it was beyond anyhting i can say that you portrayed autistic childre/adults so amazingly well that i had tears. i don't know if you will follow this through later once your comp is finished but i will be voting for you and i hope you continue this story.
