This was a short, but very nice piece. Very thought provoking, and I definitely enjoyed reading it. I would like to see more written about the people who help Superman keep his secret identity secret, but that would really be a challenge. Especially since so many people like to read about only the hero. Ahh well, kudos to you for the tribute. :)

BRILLIANT! I love the fics where people know that he's Clark Kent and Superman and keep his secret. They're always so hilarious. I remember reading one once where it was the people how do Doppler or something and they noticed the pattern of flight leaving Smallville all the time lol. I even wrote one myself about a neighbor of Lois'; but this one just may be my favorite so far!

Someone (you, perhaps?) definitely needs to expand this bunny into a full story, or at least a series of related shorts. Personally, I'm picturing something where these guys end up eventually having to rescue Supes or more widely protect his identity, with a few side-tangents describing when he rescued each of them or their respective families. Unfortunately, I lack the detailed knowledge, (likely) the skill and, for the next few months, the time necessary to engage in such an endeavour - though, honestly, I'd probably work on my existing story first...mental and writer's blocks suck.
