Reviews for Building Bridges
TJeanetteT chapter 33 . 4/12/2019
This story is well written and I enjoyed reading yet another take on the HP universe. There were a few mistakes scattered here and there throughout the story in the way of word usage or forgetting a word (such as 'the' or the like) but they were minimal.

I love your story, and it's so nice that your goblins have unique names and not the normal, over-used Ragnarok and such.

I can't tell you how glad I am that I have found this story. Your Harry is a joy - strong, loving, bent, but not broken, kind, but not one to be taken in.

Your supporting OCS are wonderful too.

However long it takes, I look forward to more of your story, especially Harry's reunion with his family. I really want to see what changes have taken place since Harry's money arrived, and if it changed the dynamics. Somehow, though, I think the sisters have enough common sense to let that happen.

Thanks for writing!

LAB1 chapter 33 . 3/29/2019
I have deeply enjoyed your story of an orphaned Harry! Such a different, but lovable character! I really like your original characters and especially an understanding, but not coddling Snape. I hope you continue on as I'd love to read more!
Reedtanguera chapter 33 . 3/20/2019
I had to go check. actually keeps track of these things. I added this story to my favorites list Sept 4, 2013. You could have knocked me over with a feather when I realized you'd gone active again. This story is fascinating, but I have to ask, is there a plan? You're past 200K words and we're not even into 2nd year! Where is this fic going?

This is really great so far! Do you post on Archive? (Its just easier to get updates over there, and I definitely want to be updated on your progress. This is so good!)
so perfect it hurts chapter 33 . 2/25/2019
I am so in love with this story. Your depiction of the characters I love and the ones I am less familiar with is truely a joy to read. I think you have a story tellers talent much as Harry does, and some of my favourite parts of Building Bridges is when Harry tells a story. I could read that all day. (I have in fact). Thank you for taking the time to write. I am keen to see Harry's reunion with his family and his meeting with Remus, and especially interested to see where this ongoing relationship with Moody will go. Also I know Harry doesn't really have the skills to heal yet, but I would love to see him develop a little more in that area also.
Thank you once more for taking the time to weave such an intricate tale.

Ghost reader 6 chapter 5 . 2/23/2019
This is wonderful! I love how you characterize Harry! He is not a paragon of virtue nor is he turned dark by the events in his life. He is a survivor and the way he has built a family around himself is heart warming. Thank you for writing!

Awwww. Awwwwwwww. Awwwwwwwwwwswwwwww
Sorry heart already lost in the first chapter. thank you for writing!
rigger42 chapter 31 . 2/7/2019
I'm rather sad about sprout and rather hope moody says something supportive to the others. First, it will shock the hell out of them, but it will also possibly reassure or undercut Dumbles muttering.
rigger42 chapter 7 . 2/6/2019
Kicking a member of the people who protect your money...I wonder if they find quiet little ways to not quite get the most profit. A slight delay here, an overlooked suggestion there...

It’s a good story but I feel like it’s going a bit slow
