| Lord Patience chapter 14 . 1/19/2011 Imagine a stool with a single leg. How does it stay up? It's slight tilt seems to defy gravity as you move towards it. But wait. The explanation is simple. The end of the leg grows into a crosspiece that distributes the weight evenly. You sit down. The chair crumbles under you and you fall with a thump onto a cushion of wood-chips. You laugh, because you find it funny. It did not seem old. Perhaps it was a prank? |

I have a vivid picture of Harry's hands shaking as he looks at the notes from the orphanage. You did a good job on the ache in his heart, the longing. Looking forward to more! |

| LoireLoa chapter 14 . 1/13/2011 Harry's desicion that reading and writing weren't much use is coming back to bit him now, isn't it? How he thought that he'd be able to protect and/or provide for his friends without decent reading/writing skills I don't know. How can you protect someone if you can't read the warning to acess the danger something poses? How can you be sure they'll be taken care of when you're indisposed if you can't write well enough to leave clear instructions? He really didn't think this through, did he? And what's with the red ink? Is that even allowed? |

Why are Hannah Susan not part of Harry's friends in one of the sentences? "(Hannah and Susan weren't part of their group, but they were the ones talking to Harry in regular class)"- or do you mean just not part of that group? |
