hey, amazng story.. very smooth and calm. are you planning for harry potter to take his money to help his friends. I mean a few hundred galleons should be enough to help the children have education and also to help run the orphanage right?

Anyway, does magic come as an instinct to harry ? the healing touch thing.

Good story. It was easy to sympathize with Harry. So many stories just don't understand that the lure of Harry Potter is that he is utterly selfless.

Aww! I hate/love that Harry's going to Hogwarts. I'm sure that his young friends will take quickly to Hedwig, though. They did seem to like McG quite a lot.

Interesting that McG is so intensely protective of her wards. You wouldn't think so from .P but, I understand where your coming from. There are def two sides to her coin. I like this side better anyway.

You're doing fine. You have hints at an interesting backstory - Petunia's death, and TWO mysterious fires, and Harry being taken somewhere in the trunk (boot) of a car as a baby. With Petunia dead, what has happened to Dudley? Or even Vernon? Did they move in with Marge? Or is Dudley also an orphan? Harry is certainly going to be different, have different drives. I think he'd be a very good Hufflepuff this time, with his exceeding loyalty.

Awesome chapter! I've been thinking about this story non-stop since reading the first three chapters. I'm going to go ahead and favorite it today.

Anyway, I like the McGonagall and Dumbledore presented. They seem cannon, which is good, though I hope McG will at least play a bigger role in Harry's life this time than she did in the books? I always wanted her to be the more motherly role in Harry's life. It always seemed like she needed a favorite to become family... she was LONELY.

Hope to see this updated soon enough, this story certainly captures attention.

You have a beautiful way of writing, which makes this story a pleasure to read. I really like how this story is both filled with sadness and joy, which you manage to get across to the reading in very carefully chosen words. The storyline is very unique and I am looking forward to reading more of it.

Unlike most wrong-boy-who-lived stories, you portray Dumbledore in just the right way, and I love how Harry was in this story, too. In this latest chapter, I particularly loved Minerva McGonagall's in-character thoughts.
